I started sending my daughter to Nasreen when she was 2 years old. I really appreciate how patient, kind and gentle Nasreen is. I noticed that my child's behaviors started to improve (sharing, being gentler and kinder and a better communicator) within a couple of months attending Milpitas Helping Hands Childcare. Milpitas Helping Hands has provided a home away from home for my son. Nasreen (teacher) is very gentle and caring in her approach in teaching kids to be independent. She is extremely patient and this shows in her work with kids. She is very particular about cleanliness and so the space for kids is very clean and organized. She is great about reading books to them and does several activities with them including art, sand play, outside play, walk in the neighborhood. Nasreen is meticulous about taking care of dietary needs of each kid, my son is allergic to eggs and is vegetarian, Nasreen ensures that her food meets our requirements. My son loves going to school everyday and insists that we take him there on weekends as well! If I could put 10 stars I would. I started sending my daughter to Nasreen in 2019 when she was 18 months until the pandemic hit. Nasreen's home feels like a 2nd home for my daughter. She is gentle, patient, kind, and helpful in guiding this first time parent in milestones my daughter should be hitting. She comforts my daughter (and myself) and all her other kids as if they were her own children. I can't explain the peace of mind I get watching my child run inside Nasreen's childcare and being able to focus on my work day knowing my child is having a blast with her friends! Nasreen's home is a perfect and safe setting for toddlers, it's immaculately clean, plenty of space for kids to run around, outdoor play, with healthy nutritious home cooked meals. She sends updates with pictures of your child throughout the day and gives you updates on how they did for the day at pick-up. She assisted my daughter in feeding herself, sharing with others, circle time, teaching first 5 (certified), napping unassisted and will be helping to potty train once she reopens. I cannot wait to send my daughter back to Nasreen's after stay in place has been lifted. My son loves going to daycare since day 1 and this is all because Nasreen shares so much love and caring to all kids that are around her. My son is a very picky eater and I was really concerned about him not taking any of Nasreen's food, however Nasreen was able to gain my son's trust by 2nd week and he started accepting all of her food (there are even some things I still have not been able to have him take them from me and he eats them perfectly with Nasreen, lol). I am the next door neighbor to Nasrene, the child care provider of Milpitas Helping Hands. One of the secrets I will share is that sometimes when I am in the backyard, sitting quietly, I can hear how she interacts with the children when they too are outside playing. She does not know I'm there as we have a high fence between us. I hear how gently she talks to the small ones, how very patient she is with them, and how very loving she treats all of them. I only wish I would have know her when my daughters were young so that they could have had the quality care she gives her young ones. I would have never had a concern for my daughters. She takes the time to listen to each one, making sure all her little charges feel special. They all call her Mom and it is very endearing. In addition to being the best care giver I've known,, she has the perfect home as a provider. She has set up a room where the children can play and where she also spends time teaching them. Happy child, happy parents! The decision to put my 3 yo at Milpitas Helping Hands Daycare was the best decision ever!! He used to go to a Montessori in the Milpitas area. Unfortunately, he did not resonate well with that place and we had to go through a lot of emotional struggle. I was really worried about the transition, but Nasreen's sanctuary is really a home away from home. She was super caring and gentle in her approach to the whole situation. My son got adjusted to her place within a couple of days, and by the end of 2nd week, he was ready to do "full-day" at the school, that's a huge success!
