Nidhi and her staff at Learning Minds are very loving and caring with the kids. Our son had a tough time when he first started at the daycare, but Nidhi really helped with the transition and was very confident making us feel much at ease. She does a good variety of activities for the kids including arts, crafts, puzzles, toys, reading time, circle time etc. We are always surprised at how much our son learns there. She does a lot of themed activities and celebrations based on the festivals and seasons which is always nice. For older kids she has 'Show & Tell' every Friday which helps kids with vocabulary and language development. Unlike a lot of home-based daycares, she has two rooms entirely dedicated to the daycare which is always clean and organized. She has a huge backyard for the kids to play and for outdoor activities. She provides a variety of home cooked food that includes breakfast, two snacks and lunch. Every Sunday she provides menu for the coming week which is super helpful to meal plan. She shares daily photos/videos which we enjoy seeing so that we know what our son does at the daycare. She follows all licensing and safety protocols. Nidhi is the best when it comes to kids. She has prior experience in a school but thats not the only thing that mattered to us. She takes care of kids and handles every situation very nicely. We had our daughter enrolled in covid times when she was just 18months and I was very skeptical with what was happening and if it was safe to have her exposed in new normal but she handled all kids safely and with proper care. She maintains cleanliness and her variety of food especially indian food is what made me happy to send my kid without any fear. Her facility is also very nice and she has lots of toys and I saw tremendous developnent in my daughter with her speech and other skills. Nidhi's activities are very creative as well. Its been almost 1n half years my daughter is with Nidhi and its going to be very hard for her to leave Nidhi. So I still dont want to leave this day care but change is constant. Learning Minds is one of the best daycares (incl home based + regular) in Milpitas in my opinion. My son went to this place for about 9 months and it was the most pleasant experience we could have had. Nidhi, the teacher is kind, compassionate, rightly equipped for the job, very patient and provides the perfect educational setting for kids. All her play based learning activities teach the kids a lot and my son learned sooo much at her daycare. She has an excellent eye for art and craft work and I honestly have a closet full of my son's daycare artwork which is amazing. She also provides candid feedback on your child's development which really helps in understanding what areas you could nudge your child to do more (example fine motor vs large motor). She also provides nutritious food/milk and my son learned to eat on his own with Nidhis able assistance. She also celebrates all festivals (indian, american, chinese) through the year and teaches kids the significance of them. For example, my then 2 year old knew a lot about Christmas, santa claus, the concept of gifts and what not thanks to Nidhi. We unfortunately had to remove him from the daycare because we decided to move and the commute wouldn't be feasible. If I could have, I would have kept him with Nidhi until elementary school. Our Daughter attended learning minds and we were really glad that we found this daycare through Facebook without any referrals. We were nervous initially but after taking the daycare tour we felt good and confident to send our kid.It's very well maintained and organised. Being a Homebased daycare also it's very spacious and neatly arranged both indoor and outdoor. Our daughter was always in a josh to go to school . Back in 2021 we were looking for a home-based licensed daycare for our 2yr old daughter and we stumbled upon Learning Minds Daycare through some positive referral from parents. And we are only glad we enrolled our daughter here as Nidhi (Owner) and her support staff take good care of the kids. In addition to providing an excellent learning environment what's important is it also provided our daughter a very safe environment (lest I forget they followed all covid protocols) which she used to look forward to every morning. She also provides home cooked vegetarian lunch along with 2 snacks and a breakfast.
