You will wait in a very long line, and it will be worth it. After waiting an hour for a table on a…read moreSunday night, I was very pleased with the food, the service, and the atmosphere in the restaurant. And the price (29 euros) is pretty great! Once you're finally inside, the staff is super nice and efficient (it helps having only a few things on the menu), and the salad is very refreshing after waiting so long to eat. The house red wine is very good, too. The steak comes rare, medium, or well done. If you usually go for medium-rare like I do, I recommend going rare. It was perfectly pink on the inside but still had a good bite. The steak is excellent, and the sauce is to die for. And the French fries? Out of this world. It may seem a little gimmicky that they refill your plate, but you'll be so happy with how good the food is, it doesn't matter. I used the fries to scrape the plate clean. I was sadly too stuffed to try the dessert, but it looked fantastic. Definitely recommend getting to the restaurant before they open and waiting out the line -- the steak and fries are more than worth it!

I am changing my mind by 2 stars. Its a gimmick but I enjoyed it. Sitting outside in Paris with a thin little piece of steak with a very nice sauce with some french fries soaking up all of the (everything) is not a bad way to spend a night. Oui?

I've visited Brazil and I have to say, the food was nothing like I had in Brazil. It was definitely…read morea frenchified version of Brazilian food. I'll start with the appetizers, we had the assortment of fried everything, crab claw, chicken and something akin to hush puppies with cheese. Let's just say this was the highlight of our meal. Who doesn't like fried food served with a nice spicy "peri-peri" sauce. We were 5 people, for our plats 4 of us got the traditional feijoada and one get the Bobo Camarao (shrimp in coconut milk). The Feijoada was extremely Frenchified. I didn't even recognize it. Typically Feijoda is black beans slow cooked with all sorts of fabulous meat. This had bits and pieces of sorta dry meat. And, the lone person who had the shrimp said she couldn't even taste the coconut milk, but did like the dish. The desserts were a bit odd. The Pudim (creme caramel) was very heavy, the Mousse de Maracuja was extremely sour, and the Quindim (coconut) had a strange syrupy consistency. The only thing authentic about the restaurant was their national cocktail "Caipirinha", which was excellent, but beware, potent! The service was excellent. The people were so super nice and super friendly. For 5 people, dinner came to 40 euros each, not bad, but it is what it is, "Frenchified" Brazilian food.

I'm not sure who told the chef what she was cooking was Brazilian but whatever. All the dishes I wanted were "sold out" so I settled for some pão de queijo...after being mocked by the owner for my French which I'm pretty sure is way better than hers since some Parisians mistake me for being from here. As I waited forever and a day for my food I looked around realizing the Brazilian dishes coming out were some sort of French take on Brazilian. No thanks! Aaaaanyways my big issue with this place is the BLACK FACE painting that was staring at me as I ate my crappy rolls (wish I had seen the bloody thing before I started eating). Now for those of you reading who don't know by now what is wrong with blackface (everything) then I can't help you. For those of you who "get it" you're best to avoid this racist joke of a place. I will never ever eat there again.
