I don't like to write bad reviews. That is why I was reluctant to write this one. But after…read morereading the other reviews, I feel this woman needs a reality check. She's got to make some changes- fast- or she will be out of business soon. In this economy it's tough to start a successful business- even when you have good service. I had a ridiculously bad experience here. There was a sign in front for the "grand opening" that advertised hair cuts for something like $10 or $12. I thought I would check it out. I like to patronize family owned businesses. For that price I wasn't expecting VIP treatment. So, the owner sprayed my hair with water and did a couple of snips- here and there. I asked her if the blow dry was included in the price. I would have happily paid an additional fee for this. She said it was. I should also mention that she seemed to be in an extremely bad mood, so much so that I felt uncomfortable. She did not put an product in my hair, even though I suggested that she do so. I mentioned that my hair is wavy and has a tendency to frizz. She quickly dried my hair- halfway- without brushing it or styling it. She rushed me out of the chair. As I stood up, I caught a glimpse of my hair in the mirror and it looked hideous. I just wanted to get out of there. I paid the money and walked next door to Jewel- vowing to never set foot in that place again. As I shopped, my hair continued to air dry. I could feel my hair growing. By the time I left Jewel, my hair was a huge frizzy mess. It was embarrassing. I looked like something out of a scary movie. This is a true story. I hope that this owner makes some changes and saves her business. If she is upset about offering such a low price for hair cuts- don't do it! People are happy to pay a higher price to get quality service.

(I made the appointment 2 weeks prior) I showed up at 8:57am and no one was here till 9:03am. They open at 9 am but I understood if they are a few minutes late. The owner doesn't greet me, all she says is the hair stylist that was suppose to do my hair is sick and the other hair stylist they have doesn't work today. I couldn't believe that she would do this, it's so unprofessional. I am a very understanding person but they could have contacted me a day before not the day of when I arrive at the salon. She offered to do my hair but she wouldn't be able to do the hair style I wanted. I had to find a hair salon that would do my hair at the last minute. Last time I came to this place I waited 2 hours to get a hair cut with Jenny. I tried making an appointment but they don't do appointment for haircuts. I won't be coming to this salon any more.
