They offer local drinks, preserves, jams, desserts of all sorts, and homemade sauces. Honestly, it was really hard to choose something to try. The owners spent a few minutes with us goin over their menu and everything looked SO good. We settled on the Strawberry Shortcake and the owner's own concoction the Nutty Professor. The short cake was ALL homemade (the sauce, whipped cream, and sponge cake). The cake was very light and refreshing and not too sweet. This was HANDS down the best Strawberry shortcake I've ever had. We ate the entire thing in the car. The nutty professor is very unique and SO good. It's very rich but is a cross between a peanut cup and a snickers combined. It's very good but only take a couple of bites at a time We will definitely be back if we are ever in the area. A must try if you're local or visiting!

We went with the cookies and cream mini cake, a cinnamon roll, a Shenandoah cookie, and a chocolate chip muffin. Everything was delicious, with great texture and flavors. Service was friendly and the bakery has a nice homey atmosphere, with some tables available to eat in.

The chocolate cupcake was fluffy, moist, and evenly filled with chocolate ganache. The peanut butter buttercream frosting was one of the best I've had; not overly sweet and was not at all gritty! The individual boxes that the cupcakes came in were a wonderful, unexpected touch. The process for ordering and picking up the cupcakes was effortless. Brenda, the store owner, was a sweet woman who took my phone call with excitement. She walked me through her flavor profiles and gave me an affordable rate for a half dozen cupcakes. I ordered approximately 5 days before I needed to pick them up with no issues. I even gave her an approximate time I would pick them up at and she made sure to have them ready by then. On pickup day, I drove out to her home which was minutes off Route 29 (behind the CVS on Moore Rd.) Her home, including her kitchen, were immaculate and very, very clean! Just a wonderful experience all around! Please consider giving your business to a local baker!

Brenda took the time to listen to my daughter and son-n-law asking what they wanted and how she could help make their day perfect. Brenda delivered on service with perfection. The cake and cupcakes were amazing. Many of our guests commented asking who was our baker? Easy Street Bakery is and should be your only choice for cakes and cupcakes. Thank you to Brenda and Homer for being a huge part of making my daughter and son-n-laws wedding the best day ever!

A small bakery with a warm homey feel. The variety of products was surprisingly large for a small…read moreshop. 28 different items in the display cases and 8 varieties of prepackaged cookies on the shelves. This is a family business that started in the home kitchen. It is run by a woman who has a love for baking. With that in mind, I expected homestyle pastries, and that's what they provided. My wife and I tried 4 pastries. 1) Walnut Toffee Bar It had moderate sweetness, a light toffee flavor, and moderate walnut flavor. The bottom layer was a slightly sweet cookie type base that was moist and slightly chewy. It was topped with walnuts and toffee. More toffee flavor was needed, but this is great for lovers of walnuts. 2) Gooey Chewie Bar This was definitely gooey from lots of caramel in a chewy fudge like bar. It wasn't overly sweet. It had some pieces of nuts in it. The crisp crust on top was slightly sweet and had great texture. It was a simple dessert that was made well. 3) Blueberry Crumble It had a flaky croissant like pastry shell filled on top with blueberry jam and cream cheese. It looked like a danish. The cream cheese was smooth and light with a natural flavor. It was not sweet. Sweetness came from the blueberry jam. It had a good sweet fruit flavor that contrasted nicely with the slightly tangy cream cheese. The pastry shell was well-made. The exterior was flaky and crisp while the interior was light, airy, and slightly chewy. This dessert doesn't look pretty, but the flavors were well-matched and satisfying. 4) Cinnamon Roll with spiced cream cheese frosting The spices in the cream cheese were cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. The spices were subtle tasting, but there was enough to give the frosting flavor a hint of spiciness. The roll was soft, moist, and slightly tacky between the layers where the cinnamon was located. The spicy cinnamon was balanced with sweetness from the frosting and roll. Overall, the taste and texture were excellent. The service was helpful, polite, and quick. The store was very clean. They don't have restrooms, tables, or chairs for customers. They have cakes, slices of cake, cupcakes, muffins, quiches, brownies, scones, cookies, coffee, tea, and bottled water. Everything was reasonably priced. The pastries and cookies were not fancy or unique. There was no pastry chef level of presentations here. Everything looked homemade. The food here brings warm feelings of home cooking. They're a good place for comfort food.
