Person at table either "asleep at the wheel", did not care, or wanted more $$ for the farm. eg Could have said, half bushel eg 2 bags is $25, save 10 dollars buying 2 bags. Person at stand either 'asleep at the wheel" , did not care, or increasing farm profit at expense of customer , for no reason. In scheme of things, 1 hr drive, gas, and tolls, 10 dollars is minor. If it's your first time here you may want to drive around before you park. Depending on what type of apples you're aiming for you may want to drive closer as it's an incline up. You pay for your apples at the store. There you can find pies, apple cider, bread, canned goodies and they also sell meats. The apple season began a month ago and most of the apple trees were picked at height level. We used an apple picker to get the apples high up. It was a beautiful, clear day ; about 80 degrees. Watch your ankles as the ground is uneven and there can be a lot of apples on the ground under and near the trees. There were other vendors near the store and portable toilets throughout the property. We are hoping to pick peaches next season!

The first day I had the most amazing Iced Crème Brûlée Latte and my friend had the Red Eye Iced Coffee and said it was perfect. And my other friend had a very yummy iced tea. The second day I had a hot Butter Pecan latte and the sandwich special, chicken salad on sourdough with bacon and tomato...both excellent. My friend had the other sandwich special with meat and cheese and a lavender martini. She loved every bite and sip! It's super cute inside with the service is amazing.
