Huge playgym designed for kids up to the age of 7…read more We've visited this playgym a few times now for children's birthday parties and I personally find the place so big and daunting for a 2 year old. There are activities available for all ages, although very small area for under 5's compared to over 5's but the building itself is so big and found it very difficult to watch my child due to this. There were 4 children's parties taking place at one time and children were going with other groups by mistake so got the impression there was too much going on for them too. Quite expensive in comparison with other playgyms in the area but maybe that is to suit the older end of the children.

Being the daredevil she is my niece isn't satisfied playing in the relatively small unders 5s play area and wanted to go on the bigger stuff. As she's not quite big enough on her own my sisters and I had to take it in turns to go on with her, 3 times climbing rope netting and huge stairs with a 3 year old is very hard work so we had to work on a rotation system to give each other a rest! I think we had nearly as much fun as she did though. You do have to be careful as the bigger kids are tearing around the place and don't think twice about knocking the smaller ones flying so don't let young ones enter the larger play area on their own.

Seats and tables located all down the side of the play area and children have to be lifted in and out so this gives parents an extra bit of security. Small cafe bar serving hot/cold drinks and snacks at reasonable prices, also offer children's parties including party tea, games, disco and dj. One of the best play gyms around, located just off the main roundabout in Elland near the Cp-op supermarket so accessible for drivers and walkers.

A nice little play gym for young children, aimed more towards babies and toddlers than the over 5s…read more My niece had her 3rd birthday party there this summer and had a great time, she wasn't interested in playing party games she just wanted to jump on the trampoline. They provide food for the children at the party which saves you the hassle of organising it yourself, but again the kids really just wanted to play rather than eat. One thing the place seriously lacks though is air-con, it was during summer and there were lots of very red little faces after all the running around in the suffocating heat! The staff could've been a little more enthusiastic too, they were young girls who really looked like they couldn't be bothered to be there.

The place is clean and well stocked with play equipment and toys. It is great for babies to pre schoolers as there is so much choice for them. The food is exceptionally good and the prices are even better. This is a great place to socialise with the kids, there are tables and chairs to sit and eat. They do super parties, the cheapest but best around. I would recommend this playgym to anyone with young children. Excellent.
