I am from the Chicago area and I thought prices were a little expensive so I probably wouldn't shop here for a party (despite the name) but it is a cool little place for personal consumption. I liked and think it is worth checking out Drake "Intimate" Party Centre!

There are always a ton of Michigan beers, ciders, meads, wines, and even some much saught after spirts too. Almost all of the beers are sold as singles so if you are looking to try everything, much like I do, you will not be disappointed. Also, of you are into 40 oz. beers expect a wide variety that you don't see in very may other states and counties. Grab Mickey's Ice or Olde English Black Label for old times. If you are looking to splurge they do have two huge walls lined with Cognacs, tequilas, rums, Scotches, and Bourbons that can set you back $40 to $400 a bottle. Too bad the new owner got rid of the "Wall-O-Shame," where local thieves and people with fame IDs had their pictures up with funny commentary.

They're disturbingly unorganized and the little room they take you to get your vaccine has to be a health violation. I repeat, THEIR VACCINE ROOM IS SO DIRTY IT HAS TO BE A HEALTH VIOLATION. Someone needs to investigate this place because the tiny room they took me to to get my shot was covered in garbage. empty boxes, papers, random shit just all over and covered the floors. every surface in there was very dirty and I prescheduled my appointment so there was no excuse. Additionally, I prebooked my appointment and still had to wait over half an hour as the pharmacist took walk ups and sat around talking to one another until I finally said I would leave if they couldn't get it done asap and they told me that they double booked people and yet still weren't prepared to give either of us shots. I have never been so uncomfortable receiving anything medical as I was going to them for the shot. It was horrid. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I promise, any other store around will be cheaper, better, and more sanitary. But no matter what, do not trust that pharmacy to give you your shot. I am shocked they haven't caused any infections by now. This pharmacy is so bad, it needs to be shut down because they make someone seriously sick. Do not give them any business. We need to make sure they go under and get closed or else someone will get seriously I'll from going there. Walgreens, I know you're a dying business but either do better or just close your stores. I'd recommend doing it before your pharmacy kills a customer from dirty contaminated vaccines so you can avoid the major lawsuit that will follow.

So at every airport along the way you look in those Best Buy automated kiosk vending machines and c-stores that carry everything from local kitsch to gum to magazines for a charger... but they don't carry the one you need because you were recently talked into buying a phone that has an ENTIRELY different port (USB-C) then most other phones. Enter Walgreens. There was a section of wall dedicated to just phone chargers; they even the one I needed (though, admittedly, it was vastly more expensive... I paid $24.99 and they have them on Amazon for $8.99; but, desperate times call for desperate measures, my friends and flying phoneless these days is just foolish). SIDE NOTE: I also talked myself into buying one of those Reese Pieces filled Reese Cups. Definitely not as good as the Inside Out Reese's which no one seems to remember, but me. The woman ringing me up was cheerful and quick. The store seemed cleaned and laid out like ever other Walgreen's I've ever been to. And there was plenty of parking. All around pleasant experience.

I've driven by this store many times and FINALLY stopped in. What was I waiting for?!…read more THIS STORE IS AMAZING! First, and foremost, the staff was so kind, patient, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. I don't think I've had anyone help me in-store EVER as this lady did. She was a great problem-solver (I love dried mango flavor in things, but am a TOTAL zero flames so even if chili is the last ingredient, it's too spicy for me. OPE.). My curry-making problem is now solved. THANK YOU! Second, this small store is like a TARDIS or Mary Poppins' bag. Each aisle is packed to the brim with treasures. We were in somewhat of a hurry, but honestly I could spend quite a while there (and know that if I have questions, I will learn solutions). There is a LONG wall of freezer things that looked enticing - our daughter got a box of 22 (!!) frozen samosas, which she loves. There is fresh produce in back, more refrigerated things, shelves and shelves of deliciousness, and my very favorite, a WHOLE section of spices and spice mix. There were many things unfamiliar to me, which I can't wait to try. The beans and rice selection is quite thorough. The prices are excellent. HOW did I not go here before? Hope you enjoy it, too. You can find them on fb; there is no other website. APNA is housed in a large blue building, shared with another store. Note: The only way to turn in is from N Avenue. Ask me how I know. There is no entrance on 9th street!

To their surprise, I always came out unscathed. Maybe it was because I was purchasing 40s and it gave me street cred, or maybe it's because Daysha's gets it. Once, I was even complimented by two women.........yeah ok that doesn't help my case. But, it's certainly the place to go if you're a K college kid "slumming it" on douglas.

The prices are high, even for a convenience store. But I suspect they mostly sell alcohol, smokes, tobacco, and lotto tickets and don't care about the cost of the everyday staples. I went in one day to check out the "legitimate" meat counter. The staff was eager to help, especially since there was no meat in the display coolers. It was all in the walk-in freezer the staff explained. I asked for pork loin and they were able to pull out pre-cut pork loin from the freezer but not until after one staff member reminded the other to wash his hands! Needless to say, I didn;t eat this meat. Upon paying for the meat, it appeared to me that there were lines waiting for the cash registers but a gentleman waved me up to his register and rang me up. He seemed to make up prices on the spot, but it was cheaper than I was quoted at the meat counter. Leaving, I found the parking lot filled with people and two police cruisers, making me wonder what I missed while I was in the store.
