I was a bit sad that she didn't look back, but she was running toward people who genuinely care about her and take care of her. They're very professional and knowledgeable about dogs. You will always feel comfortable leaving your dog with them. When Chichi had a minor health concern, they called me very quickly and let me know what was going on. I was able to take her to the vet that day. They even followed up and called me to make sure she was doing okay. I was charged for two whole days. I then scheduled her for the 4th of July weekend about a month ahead of time. In the interim, my dog developed a medical condition that required two medications per day and a request to check her late at night. It was submitted the week of the 4th. On July 2, "Sam" calls me and informs me they are cancelling her boarding. At the end of the conversation, "Sam" told me they don't want her back anyway. When I asked why, because she had always come home with good report cards, "Sam" told me she has anxiety issues. Needless to say, this created enormous problems. I wouldn't leave anything there that has a pulse.

Some would come home with little behavior reports about their stay, and some did not. This happened multiple times. And the last time we picked up our dogs, one had lost weight. They never told us she wasn't eating. That can happen when you leave pets for any period of time, but it would have been nice if they mentioned it. Also, they tended to be very exhausted and stressed when we picked them up. We noticed the difference when we started bringing them elsewhere. Bottom line is your pets will most likely be safe here, but don't expect special treatment unless you pay extra.

The pups are unique and have some strange quarks. Can't walk up or down steps, have to eat from a tall bowl and we aren't sure how they would react to small dogs if required to have play dates. We contacted Brandy Lane Kennels a few months before surgery and Paul responded promptly answering all our questions. As the surgery date approached I booked 10 days. We changed the date of arrival and Paul was very accommodating adding the additional 2 days. The time arrived and drop off was seamless. Paul greeted us at the door and both dogs immediately went to him as he got on the floor to snuggle. I left with peace of mind that they were in good hand. Paul kept us informed of their happenings and included pictures. Both dogs looked happy and content. The dogs had a coming home bath and nails trimmed. Pick up was as easy as drop off. Paul was waiting with Vandi and Zoomer and I wondered if they would rather stay! The check in location is spotless, clean and doesn't smell like a dog or some strange odor to cover up an unpleasant smell. We have found the perfect place for Vandi and Zoomer's home away from home.
