We were super happy with the service, they understood that one of my cats is a shy weirdo and made sure she got her food, even if they had to put it half way upstairs. I got regular updates (and pictures) so we knew the two cats were absolutely fine and that helped us to have a stress free few days out of town. They include litter box cleaning in the service, which is also really helpful and they offer a lot of flexibility in what type of pet visits you need to schedule. Donna is most definitely willing to work with the pet owners and the communication was excellent. I also appreciate that Go Away Pet Sitting also has a good online tool for communicating, scheduling and getting updates as well as billing. All in all, we are very pleased and will definitely be using them again.

Hey Josh, I just…read morewanted to say thank you for the awesome customer service you have given us over the last two years. My wife and I lead complicated lives... We have three rescue dogs, none of which trust strangers. We also have a young, rare breed dog, with severe anxiety issues that trusts strangers even less than the three rescues. When I first met you and told you this, you didn't bat an eye. You recommended training for our puppy with the anxiety issues; we enrolled her, and she passed with flying colors. You also took care of the three rescue dogs with an equal amount of care and concern. Both my wife and I travel fairly extensively for work, and you have (multiple times!) saved us when a last-minute work trip came up. Again, our lives our complicated so here is what you would do... Two of our rescue dogs cannot leave the home because they think they are going to be abandoned again (severe abuse and abandonment issues in their previous lives). To take care of this you had one of your staff come to our home and take them out three times per day. Prior to that, you made sure that the same staff member came over to our home to make sure our dogs would be comfortable with him. Additionally, you kept our "anxious" dog in your kennel and even enrolled her in doggy daycare. Her attitude has drastically changed since then. She is still a little weirdo but is much more confident since she has been watched by you and your staff. You even let our pit bull, who is super sweet but generally gets a bad rap because of her breed, play with her in doggy day care. They have both loved the day care experience, and we both have noticed a distinct change in their behaviors every time they come home from being watched by you guys. There has never been an issue with fighting or any other aggressive behavior because you guys keep such close supervision over the dogs, and you let us know any time there might be a potential issue. Unfortunately, we are moving this week, and we will truly miss everything you and your business has done for us. You have been a great friend to us, and I honestly don't know what my wife and I would have done had you and your business not been in Harrisburg. Thanks again, and I hope our paths cross again soon! This kennel is clean, well managed and a lot closer to home than the kennel we've bene using to…read moreboard our pooches for several years. Couldn't be more accommodating. Bring your own food, or we'll feed using our own Science Diet. Bring toys or we'll provide toys. Bring your pet's favorite blanky, or we'll provide a blanket. Runs are clean and roomy with cots. Single, double or more occupancy if you board several animals at once. Nice store at checkout, too, with treats and toys. Staff is very pleasant.

We recently moved and realized that we needed to establish care at a new veterinary office for our…read moredog Chester. We had an appointment today to have him cleared for a dental appointment in September. Our experience was absolutely top notch! Our appointment was at 4:20pm, but we arrived a bit early so we would have time to locate the place and figure out the necessary procedures. There was a note on the door instructing patients to call to check in for the appointment from their cars. I was informed that the receptionist would return my call and let me know when a vet tech had a vacant room available. I received a call at about 4:40pm. Everything was pretty quick after that! We entered the facility and were greeted by the staff. They asked me about any concerns I had and then the doctor came in. He was so amazing with our chunk. I truly have never had such a patient-centered veterinary experience. I felt that the cost was pretty affordable and definitely much less than the old practice that we frequented. They have our business for as long as we stay in this area!

The care of the animals should always come first over personal feelings. If an establishment isn't equip to handle owners concerns in times of crisis they should seek counseling to work on their personal confidence.
