Prince Pomroy got back to me and said the day I requested would not work. I asked if he had any slots at 5pm. He responded saying he had some availability after 10:30am on a specific date and to let him know what time works for me. He sends me a follow up regarding on site appraisals the same night. Noon the next day he follows up again. I was out of town during this time. My email and the ring appraisal slip my mind. In August I reach out again via email in a new thread to ask if he has some specific dates available. Here is the response I got. "Didn't we try this before? You contacted me, I responded by agreeing to an appointment and then no further action on your part. Maybe I should ask you, "What happened? Are you Okay?" And then one hour later. "I think you should try someone else. Since you never responded, I am no longer interested." I then said "Thanks for the help d***head!"and went about my life. This guy is a weirdo. I wouldn't trust a weirdo with my jewelry. Seems like other people had a good experience once they were at the appraisal, but unfortunately he didn't let it get to that point. Prince if you are reading this. Chill out. Learn patience. Don't spazz when you see this isn't a great review. Gave two stars because he called me a d***head back. Respect. Have a nice life! Edit 10/1/25 Prince says "he failed to mention that he missed the appointment time that HE WILLINGLY chose" and "You failed to show for your appointment and I'M the d***head?" I did not confirm any appointment in our initial conversation. I reached out for a ring appraisal. I followed up. Price responded saying the requested date would not work. I asked if he had any "5pm slots M/W/F coming up. I can make almost any of those days work this summer." Prince said "I can do anytime that is convenient for you on Wednesday, June 25th . . . starting at 10:30 am. Choose a time that is best for you. If it's available, I'll email you back to confirm." I didn't respond (my bad). You say I failed to show for my appointment but I never had one. Just clarifying. You were the d***head for being rude solely because you are impatient.

Staff were friendly from start to finish, and were very professional. The batteries were priced a bit steep at $20/watch--but the store is in the mall and needs to keep the lights on right? I had a question about one of my watches that went unacknowledged, but I think I may have been trying to ask at the wrong time. I do not know what else this shop can fix, as they were seemingly unwilling to look at my automatic watch (although it is in quite bad shape) and the quartz watch I have that's in rough shape also didn't get looked at. So, I would call and see if they can solve your issue prior to going in. Overall I had a nice experience and would go back, probably not for batteries though.
