Other pharmacies treat you like a second class citizen and act like they are doing you a favor just to fill your order. I can drop off an order with MS and they will have it in 5 minutes. None of this "20-30 minutes" line you get at other stores where they want you to shop while you are waiting. Also, Ted will paitiently explain about your medicine and answer any questions you have - without a big lecture. Give this place a try! They act like they WANT and appreciate your business.

The parking lot is ample and well lit . They have gift cards and greeting cards. They also stock many convenience items like snacks, soft drinks, beer and wine . We have used their photo counter to make prints for our elderly family members. I have only begun to mention the inventory which includes makeup and family planning items. The pharmacy staff is extremely busy and is very helpful. High staff turnover and supply chain issues have made for some challenges lately so make a point of double checking prescriptions prior to leaving.

Thursday night I went to the pharmacy and requested Sudafed from behind the counter. I had done this like a few years ago. So it wasn't like I did it frequently. I vary rarely even talked to the pharmacist. Anyway, the pharmacist asked about my symptoms and I told her I was starting to get a bad cough and I had a stuffy head. She said you need an allergy medication. I already take one. She said it probaby stopped working. Ill give you Claritin or Allegra for your sinus drainage. I never told her I had sinus drainage. She also kinda raised her voice at me and even caused the assistant to get a concerned look on her face. They were refusing to give me Sudafed. The pharmacist thought she was a 'doctor' and was diagnosing me with allergies! The cheapest option they gave me was a 5 day supply of Claritin (I dont have money to just throw down on 'maybe its this'). Friday night I had a fever of 103.4. My cough got extremely bad. I spent the rest of the weekend with a sinus headaches, low grade fevers, coughing and digestive issues. I have been taking cold and flu stuff. But Sudafed really is the best. I did not go to another Walgreens because I figured they all talk to each other and I had to sign for the Claritin and I didnt want a rep as someone looking for drugs. And I didnt go to CVS because I had already spent my money on Claritin. If we ask for Sudafed, dont PLAY DOCTOR!! Unless we ask you if we should take allergy medicine or something else, keep your uneducated opinion to yourself. Whoever that blond pharmacist is, she has really diminished my opinion of their pharmacy.

But Schnucks makes it way too complicated to actually redeem the points. Can"t redeem in self checkout. Can't apply to certain purchases like alcohol. Have to sign into your app during checkout with a person, find my rewards (not intuitive at all), and hand your phone to the clerk to scan the barcode. Any basic process review identifies way better ways to do this. Makes me think Schnucks doesn't want me to redeem those points. Hmmm...

The parking lot is large, well lit and clean. I enjoy running in and picking up a few things or especially like to get flowers for my wife. I recently got some white hydrangeas that were gorgeous and surprised my wife. I was surprised the next morning when a double bunch was completely wilted. I returned with a photo of the flowers and evidence of the charges and the store replaced both bunches without question. Two Thumbs Up for Schnucks!

When I get my Sunday paper, one of the first things I do is scan the Walgreens ad for their weekly specials. Where can you get Ziploc bags for 99 cents. They offer spices for 75 cents. Plus when you buy items you get points, when you get 5000 point you earn a $5 coupon to spend in the store. I like the Waterloo and Columbia Walgreens, but all of the stores are pretty similar. If you have not check out Walgreens, you will be pleasantly surprised.

I called to ask why, because I know it was not. They said I should have received "new" cards at the beginning of the year, but I know I didn't and nothing changed, since everything has been the same for 10 years. After calling the insurance co. and the prescription part of our insurance, they said the same thing, nothing had changed and there was absolutely no reason my daughter should have paid for that prescription. This is NOT the first issue we have had with this pharmacy. They are RUDE, and we have had issues with them many times. This is the LAST time. If you want rude people, that can't do their jobs correctly and then blame the customer, go here. We will be going to CVS from now on.
