Drilled holes in the wromg spots for another project (at this point I asked them to pack up and leave and he had to wait an hour for his wife to pick him up, so awkward). (Belated review; work was done mid November 2023) I highly recommend Ben! He was able to squeeze in mounting my new flat screen TV last Thanksgiving season within 1-2days of requesting the services through the Yelp project feature! You can tell he knows what he's doing all the way through from checking out the entire workspace, taking down the old TV, unwrapping the new TV, then mounting it! To be fair, the TV was big enough that he did need my assistance to lift it in place so that he could attach it to the mounting bracket. ...but if you're by yourself, he did mention he has crew that he can call in to assist, if needed! read more

When he identified he needed to buy parts, I naively paid him $200 up front for the parts. He then ghosted me the following weekend we had planned to install the parts and was hardly responsive on what was going on that weekend. I then requested a refund for the money I sent him for the parts, and it's been 6 weeks and I haven't seen my money. The communication has been lacking, to say the least. About 2 weeks ago, he said the money would be available to send back to me the following morning and when I followed up, I never heard from him. Met Benjamin today and he did a great job. We had an electrical outlet repaired from a bad remodel and doorbell replaced. Ben did a great job, was respectful of our home, and even ran to the store to get the proper devices needed. As to those who complain about promptness...Ben responded quickly to our call, gave us an appointment window the for the next day, showed up on time, and completed the work to our satisfaction. What I wanted I got for less than anybody else I spoke to and it was done for less than the quote I accepted from Ben. He had to go to Home Depot twice so it took a little longer than we had both planned, but one thing I can say absolutely is that he really tries hard to make sure you're happy with the results even when it made it harder on him to complete. Had another company come out and charge me 145 for diagnostic, they were hours late in the time window they had us set. and then wanted another 280 for parts and repair. Felt like I was getting gouged. Found Mills on yelp, super responsive dropped by Saturday morning to verify the part the other guy said we needed and instead he fixed it and was over a hundred less than the other guy. He missed that due to "car issues" but didn't notify me; I had to write him at ~9:30, and he said he was 30 minutes out. At 10:00, he said he was still running late and would be there at 11:00. He was assigned to me from Angies's list to build a pergola I purchased from Wayfair. He called me to tell me to cancel it from Angie's list and that he would do it for less money. I believed this man had good intentions, so I did it. That is a life lesson I had to learn the hard way. At first, he wanted to change the install date that we agreed on, which I said no that it would have to be May 27. Then he did not show up at 7 am like he planned on so I had to see if he was still coming. He finally showed up hours late with a helper. Once some of the pergola was built, they went for a 2 hour lunch. After a few hours, he claimed his cement drill broke so they would be back the next day to finish. At this point, the pergola was completely built but not drilled and attached to the cement. As you can guess, he did not come back and ghosted me. I messaged him on June 8 to see if he was coming back and he completely forgot who I was. After reminding him, he said he would come by on June 20. That did not happen. Fast forward to November 22 when I reached out again to see if he was coming back or if he could give me some sort of refund so I could hire someone else to finish the job. After some communication back and forth, he said he would come by December 12. He did not show up. Now it is December 21 and it's been 7 months of me trying to get him to complete the job or give me a refund, which neither has happened. Stay away!!!!! I contacted Angie's list to have some siding repaired on my house in June of 2024. He was quick to contact me and tell me to cancel my request to have them do it because he can save me money. He came out and gave me a quote of $800 which was fine. He asked for $300 down to buy supplies and then never came back to do the job. Every time I contacted him it was a different excuse as to why it was not done. He had a family member die, he got stranded without a vehicle for a week, he got behind on other work, he had to fire his employees because he thought they did it. Each time telling me he was either on his way out to do it that day or would have it done by the end of that week. Now that I'm asking for my money back he won't return text messages or answer his phone. 3 months later and I'm hiring someone that wants to work. Don't ever give this man money!!!!
