If I could give less I would. Started with my Cadillac Escalade took it for transmission to be replaced and the rear seals to be fixed. First I was overcharged for transmission what was supposed to be 3800 total including labor but bill ballooned to over 4500 which I paid only to find out the rear seals were never done properly and the transmission didn't cost nearly as much as he quoted. Had to take cadi to another machanic who pointed out all the things not done on rear. Took it to him to give a chance to fix and all they did was shine a flashlight on it and say sometimes that happens ooooookay. Then because I believed he would fix the issues I brought my 83 Buick to get a new carbarator in it. Well guess what didn't even get out the yard before it cut off. Was driving it on highway to get home it was shaking do badly and sputtering I had to pull over. Again took to another machanic and they were shocked by how bad a job they had done and the fact that they had even let the car come out of thr shop. Needed a new carbarator front end work and some tweaking to the timing. Wow just wow. When I asked for some money back all I got was well I don't know what to tell you. We went to this amazing garage on our way to Mississippi after experiencing a tire blow out on the side of the highway. I called Paul and he stayed open for us after hours so he can service our car. When we got there he did not have the tire we needed so he took us to Wally World and seriously made us laugh the whole time. We got the tire he put it on and checked the other ones before we left and sent us on our way. He was our guardian angel that night. He was fantastic. We were perfectly ok with arriving at our destination at 5am. We will definitely come back if we are ever in the area. read more

These guys are fantastic. I was traveling from Atlanta back to Asheville and about 6:30 pm I got a low tire indicator light in Livonia, GA. I tried calling every place in the area and they were all closed but these guys were open. I hobbled over to Milligan & Sons Auto Repair with a very low tire and they saved the day. They got right on it & had me back on the road in no time. Very quick service and very friendly. read more

Even though I did not patronized this business store but I would like to praise the courtesy of an employee or the owner that tried to assist us late yesterday evening. We were towing a 28' camping trailer and we have an unexpected tire failure in one of our camper's tire. We have an additional spare available to change the busted tire but we were out of any additional spare. Since we have another 160 miles left to our final destination my wife decided to call Milligan & sons garage to enquire about a spare tire just in case we were to have another tire failure. A gentleman picked up the phone and we explained our situation and he told us that he will have to check his inventory. Bare in mind that it was already 8:30pm on a Sunday night. He called us back within the next 5-10 mins and told us that he does not have any in stock but he was willing to sacrified one/two of his fairly new trailer tires that was mount in his OWN camper trailer. For a person who is willing to give up something that is not even for sale in the beginning, tells me a lot about the characters of how a small business owner runs his business. His gesture speaks volume. He was willing to give up his tires for us. By the time he call us back we have decided to chance it by driving straight back to our final destination without any incident. Anyway if by chance in the near future that I ever need anything in any automobile repair I would patronize their business. read more

Milligans put a new motor in my oldsmobile several years back (5 I think). It only took a week to get the bugs out, and it has run great since. A great job and reasonable for the amount of work. I highly recommend. read more

Paul Milligan of Milligan & Sons Garage did work on my car. My fiancee was using the vehicle and got stuck. The work Paul did to the vehicle I found out by the Nissan dealership later was not done at all. Someone other than Paul tell me why the dealership has to lie about that. Nissan took pictures believe me if I could post it I would. The part was the original and rusted out. Tell me Paul .. how does a part 2 weeks old look and act like the original..old and not working. Paul.. why won't you ever call me back. I wasn't irate or irrational I just wanted a receipt for the tow and the work you said you did.. which he refuses to provide. Says he now needs to charge the tax .. why maybe because he never did it legitimately. I called him calmly to discuss all this and he hung up on me says he will call me back but calls my fiancee within seconds. I told my fiancee not to talk to Paul again because Paul gets very irate yelling at him.. the dealership and anyone else he gets called out on about this situation. Paul called the Nissan dealership and cussed this man out on the phone the guy told me when i went to pay again for the work that Paul was supposed to do.I actually gave Paul an opportunity to discuss this between ourselves to resolve but now that Paul won't call back, discuss this like a true business owner I am going to see if I can get charges brought against him..maybe for theft by deception.. i will find out by the police after i speak with them. He says he bought the parts from the dealer. How come they have no record of it and you won't provide us a receipt. Guess we will find out. I will definitely keep everyone posted. I am so sure Paul is going to spew a lie or two he has already and I am ready with the evidence. That says a thousand words.. at least that what the law says. I can't begin to say enough good things about Paul Milligan. My daughter's car broke down on 85 heading to Atlanta at 4:45 pm on the Friday before the July 4th holiday. With no idea of where she was, she called Paul who agreed to wait on her and work on the car when the tow truck got her there. He also offered to come get the car himself if the tow truck didn't get there soon. The tow service didn't arrive at the garage until after 6:00. He diagnosed the problem, went and picked up the part, did the repair. He even took her out to test drive the car before putting her back on the road. It was after 8:00 pm when the work was completed. I don't know any garage that would stay open on any evening until 8:00 and especially the Friday before the holiday. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my daughter and her car. It is so nice to know that there are still good caring people out there who will help a stranger in need. read more
