Do not use this company. My screens were loose after installation and I didn't realize how loose they all were. I lost a few after winds from the last hurricane which shouldn't have loosened the screens more if installed correctly, but they used the wrong size spline. Now I'm stuck paying every time a screen comes off. Please do yourself a favor and run fast in the other direction!!! I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. read more

I WAS a former customer, and unfortunately recommended them to some of my neighbors. BIG mistake!! I lost a few of my screens to my cage after Hurricane Milton, so contacted Millers. Understandably was told it was going to take time, but would be put on their list after a $50 deposit. They contacted me for the weekend of Oct 5 or 6. Nobody showed or called. The following Mon a guy did show up, but was unable to handle the job by himself. He stated they would be back the next day or Wed - no show, no call. I contacted them, so I was scheduled for the weekend of the 12th, no show, no call and again scheduled for the weekend of the 19th, and guess what?? I then heard from a man (perhaps by the name of Colten) who PROMISED the weekend of the 26th - Thanksgiving weekend! Guess what!! So I waited until today 12/2 to call. Lucky me, I must be a glutton for punishment. I spoke with Jennifer, who was not the least bit understanding of the situation, and couldn't quite understand why I was upset!! I must admit I did ask what the f..k was going on, after I had explained all that had occurred, but I also apologized as it wasn't her fault. She then insinuated that I lied about them coming out that weekend because no one worked!! She best talk to that guy that called me. (Forgot to mention, after the third no show, I asked for my deposit back, but they said it was non refundable!) She then said they would refund my money or they might make it this weekend as they were at the very end. I laughed, didn't say a word and she hung up!! Unbelievable, great customer service. I guess when you're making a ton of money, who cares about the customer, but that's still no excuse for being rude. They pulled a permit and built an all-new screen enclosure for my pool, making a significant difference in how my pool and backyard look now. Do not use Miller's Screen They refuse to stand behind their installation work! I had my entire enclosure done after Matthew. (It took 10+ months) One panel was not secure and two panels had ripples from not being installed squarely. They didn't return calls, when they finally did schedule an inspection they canceled and rescheduled for after storm Irma. Even though I called, and have a call log on phone dated before the storm, and have pictures dated before the storm, Millers wants to charge me several hundred dollars to fix the poor installation job they did Oh and the inspection guy said yes I see here where you called before Irma now they say they have no record so if I want it fixed I have to pay more. Nothing has changed since all the previous reviews. They promise take your money and never heard from again still trying to get my deposit back They have perfected the art of pretending to be a real so called family enterprise but have no ethics I guess in this family but in reality they never promise that so its buyer beware and rely on yelp also be aware they will claim your deposit for a building permit even if they default on your contract then offer a partial refund FYI when the permit is cancelled they get back 75 per cent and they don't tell you that these are real dishonest people read more

We wanted our small front porch area screened. They came out and quoted, and came the following week (yesterday) to install. I would recommend these people to my worst enemy. I hate my worst enemy. Contracted for pool re-screening on 1-6-17. The person who scoped the job said work to be completed in 12-14 weeks. Received a call from Emily 4-3-17 stating work would be done 4-6-17. On 4-5-17 called office to confirm the scheduled appointment. Was told workers would be there tomorrow. Called office 4-6-17 to obtain approximate arrival time. Was told "in the afternoon". Noon came and went, 1 pm , 2 pm still no show. 2:45 pm workers show up. They came on property, looked at job, said they did not have enough material for the job and they would have to contact the boss. They got in their truck and took off without a word to me. I called the office to ask for the manager or boss. Emily said that "no one was there" except herself. She said the boss was in the field and she could not contact him. I asked " Doesn't the boss have a cell phone?" She said yes but he keeps it in the truck(?). I continued to demand the boss contact me before the end of the workday. She said that may not happen. I again demanded to be contacted by day's end. She then HUNG UP ON ME! I immediately called back to demand to talk to boss by day's end explaining that I am the customer. SHE HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN! About 30 minutes later I received a call from an older person telling me that this girl was so upset over the way I TREATED HER, that I was a rude person and that they will not finish the job they started. I told him their guys did not do anything but look at the job, said they don't have the material to do the job and then drove away. Remember they had 3 months to order the proper material. The man continued to say they do not want to do the job for a person like me and that he would refund my deposit. I received a check from them dated 4-7-17 signed, by, I believe, Ed Miller in the amount of the deposit on 4-10-17. These people need to have a course on how to treat a customer. read more

This is the most unprofessional contractor I've ever dealt with! They are barely a notch above scammers. A contract was signed with a deposit and 8 months later no work done. Calls never returned. Finally after many calls to do the work or return my deposit, they kept 1/3 of my deposit for engineering work done. Seriously? Now my neighbor is dealing with the same problem after signing a contract with deposit 20 months ago. Others in the neighborhood say if they ever do get around to doing the work, it's poor quality with no followups to fix issues. This operation needs to be shut down! read more

This company doesn't always put their customer needs first. Inability to document customer requests and build to specifications requested. If you select them please request them to document everything in writing. Slow response time to calls requesting to fix problems after the screen structure was built. Inability to fix the problem and we (the customer) were left to find another contractor to repair the problem after 10 failed attempts. Should always ask for 100% confirmation that the work meets quality expectations before paying the company in full. After we paid them it seemed we were an annoyance. Would caution any future customers to ask many questions of this contractor before signing anything. When you have a lot of work and not able to level load it properly the customer can suffer. We spent $13,500 with them and more to have their work repaired. read more

Terrible customer interface, overpriced, and a really long delay in doing the job. Estimate provided 4/6/17 and job done 7/28/2017. They charged $450 to spend 45 minutes installing screen that I could buy on Amazon for $100. Then, they presented me a bill that didn't match the estimate. They better pray for another hurricane - I doubt they get the same customers twice. read more
