I came home from a long day at work, happy to not have to cook, and as my mother is putting the leftovers away she found a bug in the pizza. At first I thought she was mistaken but when I looked closely you can see the legs and the wing. I then called and asked for a refund and they started out cordial, but they only wanted to refund me for 1 of the pizzas. I then kindly asked for the whole order to be refunded because I didn't want to eat from a restaurant that allows bugs in their food. One of my daughters is non verbal and easily could've consumed that if we didn't spot it. Long story short, they wanted to come pick up the pizzas and bring me 2 new ones. I tried to explain that I would not want to eat from a place that has bugs in their food. I asked to speak to the owner, and the owner decided it was better to be frazzled and be in a high emotional state instead of speaking to me in a calm and respectful manner as I did with them. I didn't plan on posting this, but when you can't just have the decency to refund a $40ish dollar order when YOU'RE the one who's wrong, I figured it's best people know what they're getting themselves into.

My husband gets the clams with red sauce every time because it's that good. I have tried other dishes here and liked them all but the eggplant parm is my favorite. The people are also incredible. Great service and very friendly. We feel like we've known them for years! I highly recommend this amazing restaurant.

The Eagle Hotel is one of those places that does exactly what it should and does it well…read more While it's now owned by the Funk family (who have several restaurants in the area), the Eagle has stayed true to its roots. The menu hasn't been overcomplicated or reinvented, and that's honestly part of the charm. If you've been coming here for years, it still feels like the Eagle. We came with a group of eight, ordered food and drinks across the table, and everything came out impressively fast. Drinks were quick, food followed right behind, and nothing felt rushed or sloppy. The wings are a standout. They still do wing nights, and you can tell they take them seriously. They use Bell & Evans wings, which are locally sourced and it shows in the quality. We had the sweet heat bone-in wings, which were perfectly cooked with great flavor, and Thee FEHO boneless wings, which were also excellent. We also ordered the flying eagle fries hand-cut fries topped with cheese, bacon, and barbecue sauce. Comfort food done right. You can choose from hand-cut, curly, or extra crispy fries, which is always appreciated. The space itself is small but comfortable classic small town bar vibes with exposed brick, a cozy dining room in the back, and a relaxed bar area up front. It's not fancy, and it's not trying to be. It's just a good place to hang out, have a few drinks, eat solid food, and actually enjoy yourself. Overall, this is a dependable, low key spot with good food, fast service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We've been here many times before and will absolutely keep coming back. It's a staple for a reason.

So, we (my hubby & I) l decided to give it a shot as we were passing through PA on our way to home (NJ). The welcome was a friendly one, & yes you ordered at the counter but I've been to numerous places that do the same - no biggie. I ordered the (kiddie) chicken strips & fries because I wasn't that hungry, my hubby ordered the cheeseburger. The chicken was very tasty! As was my husbands burger - the burgers are fresh - never frozen and according to my hubby, the taste vouched for it. The fries were delicious too, & hand cut! The prices were very reasonable and did I mention - the two owners (Ami & T) waited on & served us and were super friendly! The restaurant will celebrate one year on November 13th. Give them a try & a good review, I don't think you'll be sorry!

The French toast is completely tasteless yet was topped with blueberries / strawberries / bananas and some caramel / Hershey syrup. Let me add the bananas were slightly brown, and the strawberries and blueberries weren't berries at all, it was pie filling poured over my food that was supposed to be warm yet was cold as ice. 16$ for something you could get from ihop for 10$ is insane.
