I requested an estimate to replace my Mom's roof. I had already gotten one estimate from a company…read moreI've used previously. They promptly did the estimate and emailed it to me. When I opened it I was astonished. The first estimate was for $9490 and Steve @Globals estimate was $19,000. A $10k difference. I call Steve and asked for an explanation. He told me it was correct and that the other company couldn't possibly replace my whole roof for that price and that they probably were not licensed and bonded (they are). Again I asked Steve to explain how it could be such a difference. No real reasons were provided just "that's what it cost". We opted to use the company that provided the reasonable estimate and that is exactly what I paid for the roof. $9490.00. It was done and completely cleaned up in one day. Lifetime warranty included. Superior Roofing. Call them. One more thing, Steve billed me $175 for a roof inspection. I had an estimate for replacement done. I told him about the HUGE price difference and gave him the chance to say something. He didn't. I will be contacting the corporate office on Monday to resolve this issue if it is not solved by Monday via email. Liberty Powell
