I needed to touch up an interior wall at our house. I went out in our garage to get the can of…read moretouch up paint that was given to me 20 years ago by the painter that painted the house and applied the touch up paint. It was way off. Really yellow. The can of touch up paint had numbers on it and the label saying Sherwin Williams. I took this down to the local Sherwin Williams store and was greeted by Spencer, the assistant manager. He said could research the numbers and make the match. Really? 20 years later. He called the store that sold our contractor the paint and they researched the numbers and faxed him the paint formula. All this took about 10 minutes. Spencer got a can and mixed the new paint and on top of it gave us a contractor discount, cause "that's who originally bought the paint" from them. We walked out of the store 20-25 minutes later really pleased with the service we were given. Came home and the paint matched!! WOW!! I didn't think service like that existed anymore. Thank you very much Spencer!!

Nowadays, it's hard to find a hardware store that lets you claw out your own nails in bulk, but this place does. The downside of this type of hardware store is that it doesn't let you see or choose your own lumber before you buy it, as evidenced by this photo. The quality of the two pieces of fairly expensive pressure-treated wood that I purchased was so atrocious that I wondered if they had come out of the ground from somebody else's yard: cracked, splintered, missing parts of the wood, discolored, and bowed. Definitely give this place a look for hardware and tools; not so much for the lumber.

Husqvarna's corporate policy allows returns within 30 days, but they can't require a retailer to support their policy. The clerk remarked that the model we had bought is a "POS" so even the staff knew it was a substandard mower yet sold it to an 83 year old man. Doing research after the fact, the same mower at Lowes was $400 cheaper and Lowe's stands behind the products and respect customers. Save yourself money and frustration by buying a Husqvarna either through Husqvarna corporate, or Lowe's but not Dazey's Hubbard's

The festool sanding supplies here are the best quality sanding products around…read more The issue with this store i had was their employee expertise is paint was greatly lacking relative to the high cost of their paint I tried to order an additional gallon of paint the same kind I had ordered just a week before. somehow, there was a miscommunication and what I needed over the phone, and I ended up getting a paint color slightly different than the other 2 gallons I had ordered. I didn't notice the difference until I had already started painting, and it caused a huge headache. This could've been avoided by having the information on our account and their system, more clearly accessible, or by having employees with more experience of the painting industry. I ended up getting one gallon of paint at no charge after much debate, but I've been painting for several years and never had something like this happen , if you use Miller paint, be very careful that you communicate exactly the kind of paint you need and ask them what specific information they need to get the right paint. I will never use Miller paint again after this experience.

They were unable to match it with their spectrometer. They matched it with a small piece painted sheet rock that I brought in. They matched it by eye and the color matched perfectly when I got home. I just wanted to let everyone know how happy and impressed I am with the great customer service that they provide.
