I asked for a lumber estimate from this company and maybe I'm not the regular male they deal with . I have never heard back from them .

I had not been at this lumberyard in quite some time. I stop by to pick up some wood and after paying for them and going to the yard I could not get anybody to help me. I had to walk up to six guys staying around their trucks waiting to get off of work to see if somebody could direct me to where the wood I just paid for was. Obviously these are trying times right now. I appreciate that everyone is masked up and taking care of their employees and customers. I've had excellent experiences there and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. We're talking a true locally owned lumber store here. As a small business owner it's important to me to buy local whenever possible. read more

if I could give this place negative stars I would, Russ in particular has the worst customer service skills, not willing to help or be informational in assisting on the phone or in person, all employees are hard to get pricing out of, yet alone help finding and loading material. I give up on all hope of any kind of assistance from this place and have considered giving all my business to parr lumber from here on out. And we spend thousands of dollars at miller. they should really consider getting better at helping the customers that want their product. sad excuse for a lumber yard. read more

The employees here seemed very uninterested in assisting me. Several men were asked if they needed assistance before me and when I was finally helped my small order appeared to be a waste of their time. Also, my purchase was about 6 inches to long to fit in my car and I asked if they could cut it to make my travel easier. I was told that they didn't have a saw. Really....a lumber yard with no saw??? I cancelled my order and went to Home Depot were several people helped me, cut my wood and loaded my car. Too bad, I always try to support a small local business whenever possible. read more

Had a very positive experience at Miller Lumber. I appreciated that the staff was so willing to help with my project. Besides that, I'd much rather shop in town at Miller than drive out to a big box store. Nice that it is within walking distance of downtown! read more

Unfriendly staff. I stood at the register for a bit and then when someone came to help me they acted like it was a chore to sell me their product. Also when I asked questions, I was met with subtle condescension as if I should know everything about lumber. I wouldn't go back if there was no where else to buy lumber, but thankfully there's Parr Lumber! read more

No better place in town for quality lumber. the employees are very helpful and nice guys, always a pleasure visiting their store.

I tried to use this company, but finally gave up. I guess they don't really want retail customers. Limited supply of specialty wood, no offer to order, overpriced, and a bunch of grumpy old men working there. Guess the Millers are just too rich to care about the quality of their service. read more

So each time I've come in this store, a clerk seems totally uninterested in the more eco-conscience materials I'm looking for. I've asked for different items, only to be looked at like I'm crazy for caring. I asked for FSC lumber, and was told no one does that anywhere. ??? What??? Many places do that and should, if we want to conserve our forests and not let lumber companies destroy what's left of them. I would love to see your company sell healthier products, for us and the planet, and for your employees to become more knowledgeable about them. On the plus side, they seemed willing to help, as long as you don't ask for better products. read more
