Do not use this company! After interviewing three excavation…read moreservices, I hired Justin to grade my driveway and to excavate for a pond and dam. He offered to do the job for what I would consider a low price. The driveway was graded appropriately- though he left a mess of heaped up dirt and half bulldozed trees at the edge of the drive for me to clean up. The real problem was the pond. He built it about half the size that I requested. He gouged out areas that the water was never going to fill and I had to pay someone else to smooth it over so I could plant grass there. He did not include a spillway next to the dam. And, after 4 weeks, the dam started leaking and the water level has been dropping ever since. All communication goes through Justin's wife, Yvette. It is very difficult to communicate anything to Justin through her. When they refuse to fix these structural problems, I asked another Excavation service to take a look and they confirmed my observations. When Yvette finally answered my message, she told me J and D excavation was no longer responsible since I had involved another contractor. (?!) Then she accused me of being unprofessional and irrational. At one point, always even blamed for choosing them because they quoted me the lowest price! I will end up spending twice what they charged me to fix the mess they created.

Other wise why did you pay if you was not satisfied.. why did you continue to harass my wife. I told my wife that I would not get back on your property because of your recklessness with your UTV and it was a hazard to be back around you or any vehicles that you were operating.. after you hit a tree running about 15 to 20 mph while my father and I was in the vehicle.. I have been in pain with my right shoulder an forearm an my mental state of being on or around any UTV or ATV is traumatizing to me now. My father's injuries to his knee an upper torso and mental state of PTSD has returned. He is a Vietnam veteran an served his country an has been doing quite well up until the point of you severe carelessness for human life.. when you wrecked us that day. We pushed through to finish the job an remove an thing we had on your property. Because being around you was a severe risk of injury.. Now my wife has not tried to contact you because of your rude harassment an being advised by our attorney it was in our best interest to stay out of contact with you. So please you are only making it worse on your self to continue to act reckless an careless in a situation that is quiet severe.. if you are unstable in your mental state of mind mabey you should go seek mental help. Obviously you are still acting and reckless an therefore we will not have anything else to say or have contact with you as advised by our attorney after this... That being said Have a blessed day.

Two weeks later they came back with the chain saw but did not bring the trailer so again no debris could be hauled off. Over the corse of 2 months, they continues to cut grass but never fully finished the initial clean up. Plus, they started trying to add extra fees for tree trimming which was included in the original estimate that I had already paid for. Needless to say, I had to let home go.
