More recently, we had someone agree to bring and spread gravel but they did not follow through. Recently, I saw a neighbor's new gravel paths, contacted her to ask "who did it?" "Adam Greenspan, of Greenspan Landcare." So I contacted Greenspan's through the website, and soon thereafter Adam telephoned, and came to meet my husband and me. We have a narrow, long, worn gravel driveway, 145' long, on a slope, 2 parking areas off the driveway, and paths in the woods. We were impressed with Adam's suggestions and plans for these areas. We were also impressed with the fact that Adam complimented the way the driveway had been done originally, 27 years ago, even with Road Bond as a base. Adam is pleasant, experienced, follows through! If he says he is coming, he shows up! Adam did recommend Road Bond for the driveway, topped with gravel. "Just" gravel for the flat parking areas. We discussed the size of the gravel, and went with pea gravel. He first got the parking areas, and driveway appropriately level. Following were many loads of Road Bond and gravel, competently "dumped," and spread by hand with rakes. It was wonderful to watch the dexterity, strength, and power of Adam and his team. Adam Greenspan has had amazing training and experience, offers suggestions of how something can be done, etc. Wants to understand what his clients want. Can offer numerous suggestions. Adam has a group of contacts, competent entrepreneurs in business for themselves, as is he. I've already seen the work of one of these, an amazing tree expert, climber, and remover (giant oak trees), beautifully arranging and stacking the cut wood. Heartening to see Adam Greenspan, well- trained, competent, making a "go" of having his own business. Adam is the best of this "next generation." We heartily give Greenspan Landcare our highest recommendation!

The owner agreed and said he would come out and give me an estimate. He was not able to do that for reasons I' don't know. When we left I called again told him that in the past the charge was $70 for a cut, so I was sure he would be close to that and to go ahead and cut it for me. His crew came out one time and cut the grass and I received an invoice for $148. I was disappointed but my fault for not getting the estimate. All that to say, make sure you get an estimate if you use them. The work was acceptable, but nothing I could not do myself in less than an hour.
