This towing company is fraudulent. After verifying a price based on the Exact location of my car,…read moreand the Exact location it was to be towed to, as well as asking if they had a driver within ONE MILE so THERE WOULD BE NO INTER TRAVEL UPCHARGE, they charged me $105.00 MORE THAN THE VERFIED PRICE. After calling them all of a sudden the owner pretends he's not the owner, and tells me to call back at a later time to get my credit, and then tells me to come get it out of his f****** pocket. I suggest no one use them ever, as they are fraudulent, they are liars and I am out the money because the Visa company took their word for it and like an idiot I didn't look up Yelp to see that this is not the first time they've done this nor will it be the last. So unless you want to be charged double or triple for what you're quoted as a firm price I would stay away from this company there absolutely committing fraud. P.s Yelp made me give them one star they don't deserve even one star that's how bad they are.

The next day, we were told there was nothing mechanically wrong with her vehicle and we could come pick it up. When we got there on Monday afternoon, we were greeted with a $400 bill - $170 to tow it less than one mile, $130 in storage fees and $100 for labor and administration fees. $400 for them to tow a driveable car one mile, let it sit in a garage bay overnight and to look at it and tell us it was ok to drive. When we questioned the charges, they told us the HPD sets the fees. When I called the HPD, they could not give me any information stating fees for towing or storage. I would highly recommend you look for another towing company, not have mechanical work or any body work done by a business owned by Jim Olson in Harvard or Woodstock IL. Very crooked business practices.

What a rip off!!! a few months ago i brought in my Impala to find out i needed a new water pump…read more Paid over $1000.00 for the repair, noticed a big charge on the invoice for a new oil cap and oil in the car. When i ask about the charge I find out Mark forgot to put the oil cap back on and oil in the car when he did the oil change previous. So i paid money for them to correct their mistake. My son brought his truck in last week because the front when was smoking. He was told the calipers are sticking and need to be replaced. $500.00 15 minutes down the road, both front wheel are smoking bad! Takes it back in just to hear "I guess we could've checked the hose" then they charge him $265.00 for the hose repair. Wasted $500.00 on calipers not needed! They've gone down hill with there repairs and service. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR VEHICLE

I declined the repairs knowing something wasn't right. Next day at the barber shop in Woodstock I asked if they knew or could recommend an honest good mechanic. I was told DeCraene's. I called them the same day and Mark told me to bring my truck over the next day and they did a complete inspection and found nothing wrong which I was not surprised, but yet I always try to play to the side of caution. I was very impressed by Mark and certainly he has a new customer from here on out. Mark is very knowledgeable and easy to deal with.

Waited in the parking lot for 20 minutes, then an hour, then 2 hours. Finally got tired of being patient and called them, only to be told that the driver had supposedly gotten called out to another tow and it would be at least another 45 minutes. "Oh, I guess I forgot to give you a call". Yes my friend, I guess you did forget to do that. There are way too many other tow companies in the area. Can't recommend, would not use.

The other tow company didn't communicate when my car was towed and delivered to the dealership. After diagnosis, it was the starter - the pricing was super high for the fix, so I declined and needed to find a tow company to get my car to my house. I called the other company and they didn't answer my call, so I gave Midas a try. They were able to get me in quickly, picked my car up and even picked up the receipt from my diagnostic at the dealership. They communicated when they were on their way to pick up my vehicle and checked in before headed to my house. They were SO agile getting my care up my long skinny driveway - it took all of 2 minutes, I swear it was like watching a surgeon. I was able to change out my starter for a quarter of what I was quoted and now my family gets to eat this month! Thanks, Midas Touch.
