This is a top-notch company from the customer service reps to the installation crew. First and…read moreforemost, our home was right on the border of their 3-hour-drive service range and they did not have to accept our job (I insisted at first because it felt cruel to ask them to drive 6 hours round trip). Nevertheless, they agreed to take on the job. First in-person meeting was with Brian to discuss options and scope the job to provide us an estimate. Came to find out once he arrived that he had drove from 4 hours away. Really blown away by the dedication and commitment to service. We ran into a few detours as the foam insulation was the last of 4 projects we were having done so as the first got pushed back, so did their install date and they were very understanding and accommodating. They finished up their 2-day project today and we couldn't be happier with this decision. The bonus room over the garage has always been 20-30°F higher/lower than the outside temps for summer/winter (respectively). After just 1 day, the storage spaces in that bonus room were no more than 5° warmer than the bonus room itself (in the afternoon!) For reference, outside temp today was about 85°F which meant that those store rooms would get above 100°F within 2 hours of daylight. I'm addition to all of this, the installation crew was very knowledgeable and walked us through each of the areas they sprayed to ensure we were satisfied with the job and clean up. Highly recommended to give these folks a call and/or check out their website. This was definitely an investment that we're happy we made!

Mr. Brook showed up to inspect my crawlspace and literally before he pulled out the driveway, I received an email from him with a quote for $6000 with a 3% discount if booked within two weeks. I thought maybe it was a mistake, as I could not understand, after comparing his quote with the other quotes, how his could be so much less for the same work??? I called maybe six of his 20 or more references and they all were very positive, and said they would use him again; some were business references and they said they use Foothills on a regular basis. I then called Brook and asked if he did veterans, law-enforcement, and or senior discounts, which he did give me an additional 2%. I booked them, they came out on time, Brook introduced me to his crew who were doing the work, and by the end of the day they were done. I was pleased, and my HVAC company, pest control company, engineer, and others who have since gone into my crawlspace, have said what a great job Foothills did. They returned earlier this year to do an annual inspection.

Working with this company was a frustrating experience from start to finish. The company did a poor…read morejob managing expectations regarding the work to be delivered. The sales and consultation process strongly implied that we would receive a crawlspace encapsulation-type solution, but the final result was a vapor barrier covering less than the original. When we attempted to discuss our concerns, the owner was disengaged. Instead of partnering with us to resolve the issues, he took a hands-off approach and was unwilling to consider reasonable alternative solutions. He wouldn't personally come out to review the work even after requested. A reputable contractor should be willing to stand behind their work and collaborate with customers when expectations are not met. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. I wouldn't work with this company again and I wouldn't recommend them to others.
