After I followed up, I was told it would be sent within 24 hours--but that was just the start of the problems. During their service, the technician removed components from my wood stove and failed to reinstall a cotter pin that secures the front air tube. As a result, the air tube fell down while red hot during near-zero temps when we depend on the stove for heat. I burned myself trying to get it back in place while a fire was active, and I had to deal with an urgent mess at the worst possible time of year. The air tube fell on a log and rolled within inches of the glass, I contacted the company immediately with photos. The owner admitted the technician had been making "a few mistakes recently," yet the situation was downplayed. Ultimately I had to fix it myself because I couldn't wait in freezing conditions and risk further damage. Their idea of "making it right"? A $100 coupon for a future service. After the disruption and the negligence, I'm not trusting them in my home again--so a coupon is meaningless. What really sealed it: The owner's response was condescending and dismissive, telling me I "blew this way out of proportion" and that my understanding was "flawed," instead of taking accountability for a simple but critical failure to reassemble equipment correctly. I compare it to getting your tires rotated and the tech forgetting to put the lugs back on. If you value competent workmanship, urgency when something goes wrong, and professional customer service, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. I never received a call, all communication was handled via email. There was 0 accountability for the issue and to quote: "you've blown this way out of proportion" and "your understanding of how things work in a stove is flawed, but that's ok, and is typical of may consumers and that's why we're here. To help educate our valued clients"

A few days later our septic guy came to put on a riser and found a buried electric cap. Upon digging further he found an exposed wire and a second cut area in the line, neither of which were properly wrapped for underground lines. We ended up paying an electrician to properly fix the issue and I called the owner of Quality to let him know what happened. He responded that it's in their contract the buyer pays for any damage they cause to the property and that I should be happy they didn't charge me to come back and fix it the first time. He then proceeded to hang up on me. If you are thinking of using them I would take caution. Their business policy seems to be putting blame on others.

Would not recommend for gutters. Communication was poor and the angry reaction to complaints was…read morevery concerning. Needed work done fairly quickly as some of my old gutter was removed as part of the overall project. I was told it could be done "within two weeks". After a week went by, I hadn't been contacted about scheduling so I called. I was told on a Friday they would be coming Monday. Great. A crew arrived Monday morning just before 9:00 am. We discussed the fascia that would need to be replaced at an extra charge after I questioned the footage, and settled on the amount. The crew tore down the old gutters, causing some but minimal damage to my landscaping. It was a hot day, so I offered them cold water and soft drinks throughout the day. At around 2:00 pm, I offered to go get them food, but the lead guy said they were leaving soon, so instead I opted to make a quick trip to get them cash as a tip so that they could get food. When I got back, I found they weren't packing up to leave as I'd been told, and had kept on working. It was during this time that I discovered them using metal scissors to cut up the gutter guards. The lead guy said this had to be done for all of the gutters. I questioned this because I didn't understand why the guards didn't fit the gutters. I worried about people in the future removing these guards to clean the gutters dealing with jagged edges. There was no resolution. After showing me the last downspout they were about to install, I questioned why one of the pieces had been smashed in. I asked that it be bumped out and the lead guy agreed. It was not fixed, as I discovered later. It seemed to be their practice to smash each piece in order to make the process of attaching the connections easier for them. In doing so, the gap they created in each connection point allowed debris to enter the gutter. As a homeowner for 40 years across 3 homes, I've never observed downspouts with damage to this extent. The crew left around 4:30 and said they'd be back the next morning as they'd run out of the gutter guards. I inspected the work after they left and found a small section of gutter where the gutter guard had 4 pieces mashed together with pieces sticking up, gaps between the pieces and a significant gap at the end where the piece wasn't long enough. This should have been one long piece. I also checked each downspout and discovered more instances of smashed in gutter pieces. I was upset that the crew did not fix the downspout that had been smashed in. I emailed Jare with my concerns, asking him to inspect the work before they did anything else. I was concerned that they had cut corners on the rest of my house similar to what they had done to the small section I looked at. He refused and said he would inspect it when they were done. I told him I would have my son look at it so that I could get comfortable with it. He sent someone else in sort of a good cop bad cop situation to try to smooth things over. It was clear that Jare was very angry and didn't want to deal with me. The crew fixed or so I thought the smashed sections of downspout and replaced the poorly installed section of gutter guard with two pieces instead of the multiple pieces that had been there. I later realized that I needed a downspout off of my front porch as one had been removed as part of a project to remove an overhang. Jare agreed that one was needed. As I needed to paint a porch railing first, I contacted Jare when that was done. Instead of doing the work themselves, they contacted a third party to install the downspout and fix a sealant issue that cropped up during a heavy rain. The cost to me was $500 for the downspout, far above the average for a single downspout. I declined, as I'd already paid them $6,700 for gutters and gutter guards for a 1,300 sq ft house.

We followed their recommendation, worked with a plumber, and then had DLV make some other small fixes they'd recommended. The first crew turns out to be subcontracted (even though DLV's salesman emphatically stated they don't subcontract), it was this crew who refused to install the hip shingles because the color clashed so badly. After waiting six weeks for the correct hip shingles to arrive through the hail and storms of April they then send a second subcontracted crew. Of course the second crew neglects to trim back the material at the ridge vents creating complete blockage, I bring this to DLV's attention and they argue with me, I say I'm bringing in an engineer, and they say let's have a certainteed inspector look at it for my 5-star warranty, of course the inspector sides with me.
