Desserts were; white chocolate cheesecakes. Wine; Malbec and Chardoney Afternoon opening 12-3, nice underground setting - great artwork dotted about. Nice selection of wines and ales. Service was great. Knowledgable staff. The food was superb. Scallops were tasty, and accompanied with a delicious aoli. My steak was cooked to perfection - medium rare, my parents has medium and again it was exactly as you'd expect. Dessert was sweet without being too strong, and went perfectly with a double espresso. There's also a nice selection of spirits for the end of the meal, so a frangelico and a whiskey were also appreciated. I can't recommend it enough. Price was good. Plenty of other local bars around to nip to after. Happy customer!

Four of us went and everyone said how good it was, I can't remember the last time we all agreed (my brother is the difficult one, not me). We actually booked for a Sunday lunch while we were there, and if anything the Sunday roast was even better than the Saturday dinner. I really can't recommend it enough, a great find.

This consists of a number of sofas and coffee tables, plus some taller tables with chairs which are great if you want your meal in the bar area. The restaurant is to the right, and has a mixture of bench seats (with cushions) and tables with chairs. The kitchen is open to the side of the restaurant, so you can spy on what other people are having before you order. There are also some tables outside for the fine weather. The food at Mortons is more reasonably priced than at others in this gastropub group. There are a number of sharing plates, including a fine deli board which includes olives, hummus, flat bread, squid and aubergines. Some of these sharing platters make a good lunch for two with a salad and some chips (plus aioli) on the side. There is also a good selection of salads (both the Greek and spiced pumpkin with feta are highly recommended). Pizzas come two for the price of one most lunchtimes. The free range spit roast chicken is absolutely delicious. Sides include a great bowl of greens. Mortons does a great Sunday brunch, and there is also a big lunchtime menu of hot and cold sandwiches.
