We had 3 starters, 5 mains, 2 puddings, 2 veg bowls, a coke & a bottle of wine all for under £92. Everything came out at once, hot, & lovely. The beetroot is wrapped & deep fried, quite goat cheesy said my friends. Salmon cooked perfect. Seabass was a few fillets, all with crunchy skins but again, cooked perfect. I asked for a med-well ribeye which came out well done. No matter. It was a nice cut, tender, nicely seasoned. The peppercorn sauce I asked for on the side & it was wonderful. It was more of a gravy then sauce & I enjoyed it. Both deserts were wonderful. The cheesecake our fave. Couldn't taste the mulled wine, which was fine by us. The crust was solid & broke away nicely with a fork & no effort. The main road, depending on direction you're coming from, is very narrow & doesn't allow for 2 cars to pass easily. There are turnouts & many blindspots & corners due to design & landscaping. Will definitely return on my next visit to England.

Quickly shown to window table for two, drink order taken and delivered quickly. I had a Sunday lunch of pork and beef with nice veg and roast potatoes done in duck fat. £24 . Ouch but it was worth lots of meat very nicely cooked. I would go for a 9 out of 10 simply because potatoes could have had more and larger. The service was excellent, no feeling like been forgotten and very freindly and polite. Totally recommend the place.

I had lamb shank which was cooked to perfection and my wife went for the scallops and monkfish which she told me was the best shed had in a long time,we both shared a warm chocolate brownie with a small glass of dessert wine which complimented the richness of the chocolate to perfection! A friend and I ate here Wednesday 1st June 2016 it's a small ish restaurant with around 10 tables for 2/4 on the ground floor, but a surprisingly larger room upstairs where functions such as tribute band nights a private do's are held I was impressed with the food quality. I had scallops raped in proceto, and my colleague had the veg soup. Both were tasty and well cooked the fish was tender and flavoursome the ham was crisp and and balanced well with the scallops, four scallops and a salad dressing My main course was Duck cooked pink with shaved root veg again flavesome and well balanced. When you first walk into this place you think, this is a bit small to be good, but eat your food then judge I was pleased with my food and so was my colleague. I will return and are going to try the tribute night

This soon after stopped, which is fair really, but disappointing as a customer, but hey, better to have loved and lost, right? Then the menu changed, dropping half of the dishes previously available. Then it changed again, halving yet again. And due to the limitation, they were selling out of a lot of things, so I struggled to find something I wanted. I still enjoy a visit occasionally, but it's no longer my regular restaurant- too much money to pay to not eat the food I want.
