Was looking for a place to take my son to roller skate while visiting the area. This roller skating rink is poorly managed. There is no organization. No rules. They had about 8 people on staff for a Saturday. They advertised the grinch who came out for five minutes and we never saw him again. The kids were roller skating the wrong way. It was just mayhem. The party is area is right at the entrance and we couldn't get through. The music was NOT appropriate music for younger kids. It was terrible. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Love me some Millennium! I've had many parties here as a child so having the chance to revisit recently was a trip down memory lane. The place looks just as I remembered it last--Old school! I believe they have a 21+ night, so no kids which was enjoyable because I got to see some real skaters in action--Felt like I was in the movie roll bounce lol. Plenty of games, snacks and beverages to choose from and they also have the option for you to rent out the entire skating rink during the week for under $500 I believe. Awesome place! I traveled from out of town from DE, because it was the only skating rink in the tristate area that carried my son's shoe size 16. The customer service was excellent, the music was excellent, and the atmosphere was family friendly! My family really enjoyed themselves and I'm certain you will also! I came with my crew (12 people) for old school skate on Friday 7-10pm. I had no idea what to expect. The rink was extremely clean and they followed all the Covid-19 guidelines. The floor was one of the best floors I have ever skated on, it was smooth like butter. The music was jamming and we enjoyed it much we ended up purchasing tickets to the first Friday adult skate and stayed from 11pm - 3am.. that's right. We skated 7 hours in 1 night. The owner was extremely nice. She introduced herself to us and had the DJ shout our crew out because we were guest at their rink! We rented a van and drove 2 hours to another state to skate. And we will do it again. Millennium is worth the trip and I cant wait to visit again. . read more

Awesome retro skating rink. I really enjoyed my time here and I will definitely be back. This is one of the few rinks in the area with a smooth wood floor. Perfect if all you want to do is roller skate. However, the arcade is a great plus as my teenager prefers to play games while my son and I prefer to skate. Such a fun place to skate at with friends, live DJ music, and a great rink! It's nothing fancy, no frills, but has just exactly what you need to skate. Admissions are pretty cheap, around $6.50 or higher, depending on the time of the day and the day, and skate rentals around $3.50. Day 1 of derby training: Can I Skate? Do you know how much I've missed roller skating? Like the deserts miss the rain. Holy Solomon. Putting on those wheels for the first time in 20 or so years felt awkward, unnatural, and euphoric. I attempted the backwards-skate roller disco move...didn't fall. Courage meter = 5 I went as fast as possible around the inside track, placing one skate in front of the other, ducking and leaning into the turn...didn't fall. Courage meter = 7 I mixed up my routine with forward and backward skating, interchanging them to the beat of Lil Wayne's "Ms Officer"...didn't fall Courage meter = 9 I'm doing the "cool" bounce to the music, bobbing my head, as I signal to my friend, "watch this." I gain speed. Jump. Knees hit my chest. Both skates hit the floor. So does my butt. And so does my courage. Courage meter's back at zero, but it's all good, I'm just ecstatic the roller skating rinks of my youth are still out there. And for $8, you can't match this kind of fun. read more

Thankfully they did clear the rink of kids and novice skaters so the decent skaters could have a few songs to enjoy in comfort. I went for Halloween very early in the day. A little kiddie party was there in full effect. Price was reasonable. The smell, mismatched skates, and dirtiness of this place was not. My cousins and sister told me that they had been here a couple of years ago and it was bangin. This skating rink is right in the middle of a highway, the hood, pretty nice artwork, and unkempt grounds. So the outside look was unpleasing. If the sun had been out it might have looked better I presume. So yeah, we paid, went through, and smelled feet. A put off. We were like the second group of people to come in. I was really glad I had two pairs of socks on. Why did I have two pair of socks on? Well, cause my Converse's are a little big for my feet, that's why. The skates were nasty looking and feeling, the second sock was a lifesaver. The music was good. The floor was nice and shiny with a few ridges awaiting the new skaters, and there were games for non-skaters or tired skaters to partake. On the way out, it's basically out. If you want to come back in, it seems like you have to repay. The door takes you out to an exit that was never an entrance. I think it means "hope you enjoyed skating, now get the hell out." By the way, they do offer $5 skating lessons. read more

No consideration at all for covid!!! No social distancing, no limit to the amount of people allowed inside! Skates were not being sprayed down and none of the carts the kids use were being wiped down! People were skating and walking around without mask. We came for a party luckily I traveled with lysol and wipes. The food line was ridiculously long! No social distancing everyone was on top of each other! On top of that the skates were raggedy! The first pair my son received had a hole in them, we had to ask for another pair! We left because we felt like that was a covid spreader party! I will not return! read more

Had my son and my niece's birthday party here on 8/10/2020. We were able to rent the whole rink for 2 hours, it was just friends and family. We had an awesome time and everything was perfect. We went there 10/19/2019 with a group of 12. The staff is amazingly courteous. Bags are checked by security. The location is easy enough to get to, a 7 minute drive from 7th and Chestnut at 6:30 PM on a Saturday night. The wood is smooth, the music deeply rhythmic up to date music. The lockers are a mess. Many don't work, many with no keys. Once you put 50 cents in and lock, you cannot open again without another 50 cents to re-lock. Bring lots of quarters of just leave all valuables at home. As to the food, eat before you go, period! We drove out from 600 Chestnut where the super Wawa is. We could have eaten so much better for so much less had we known. This is the absolute worst pizza we have ever had and its $7 for 2 slices with a small soda. $2.50 for hotdogs, no spicy mustard and a 20 minute wait for them to cook the hotdogs in the pizza oven. Again, the staff is uber-courteous and super pleasant. They would be far better off serving Freshetta pizza which tastes about 20 times better than the thin cardboard like sweet lame excuse for pizza being served. A large drink is $3.75. $2.50 for bottled drinks from the machines in the same iced cup got us 2 more large drinks. The skating is a blast, carts for the little ones to steady themselves and not too crowded. Have fun. read more

Can I just say how extremely satisfied I am with Millennium Skating World. I just had my son's birthday party day. I booked the private party. And from the moment I made calls to the moment I entered the facility I was treated with nothing but kindness. This place is a GEM and I'm sooo happy that it's in my neighborhood. I didn't have to go too far. The facility was immaculate, party host and other staff where extremely helpful and friendly. The pizza was delicious and prize was great. I'm just mad I didn't think of this before. I will definitely be coming more often. SO much fun watching my children, family and friends having some good'ole skating fun. I asked my son did he like his birthday and he said, "No I loved it!" And that was thanks to Millennium Skating Rink. read more

Music bumpin, parent wouldn't agree it's for kids, but your kids already listen to this kind of music. The skating is great for the price. Don't bother with the arcade games, so many of them were turned off; the rest didn't work. Come for skating and avoid arcade games like the plague. read more

Three wonderful words: Adult Skate Night. You're thinking: surely, this place has alcohol for such an event. Falsehood. No drinks needed. It's not like bowling where you would only get better with shots. Here at Skate World what you need is a sense of adventure, a healthy dose of courage, and lots of good friends to enjoy it with. My friends and I stumbled upon this place when it opened at 9pm. It wasn't super packed so we got our mismatched mens-sizes-only skates and attempted to skate in the romantic lighting with only the laser lights guiding us. It had been YEARS since we put on roller skates. The soul music was cranked up to near deafness level. There were people there with their own skates dancing in the middle. Magical. Then an hour later the lights turned on, 50 more people showed up and the place really got fun. It's awesome to watch people practicing their routines, enjoying themselves and being active. Honestly, how people were up on a Weds roller skating till 1am baffles me. And tickles me. Sure it's in Camden and the doors to this place seem sketch, but the parking lot is well lit, the people who run the place are ridiculously friendly, and there are (very nice) security guards there to make sure that mischief is managed. The food is cheap, you have to pee in your skates, and the air hockey table works. What more can I say to convince you?! read more

Very good place, good hospitality skating price very good. But The food price was Little pricey and the extra 50 cents for ice was unnecessary, but is free everywhere else. I had a slice pizza and the pizza was a dry, cold, and the lady it didn't heated up. The place said it close at 10pm but it closed earlier then expect it. My first time going it was pretty good. They have a great DJ as well and do a good mix. I will tell people to come. read more
