Yall really should have done a grand opening or something. No one even knows this place is here, you can hardly see it from 49, it's not even listed on google STILL yet.
management is absolutely terrible, the guy who manages everyone and hires everyone and does the schedule is terrible at his job, he hired someone and never taught the job right and just expected this person to know what to do. He was always late giving everyone their stocktakes for the day so people (especially new hires) would fall behind and have to rush doing it at the very end of the day. And of course the new people would take longer because, they are new, and he didn't even teach them the job right to begin with, so they'd be there way after closing trying to get it done The only reason he's the manager and is even still working there is because he lives with someone who is a friend/family member of the guy who owns all the millennium shops. And because of that, he is favorited above everyone else, even though there are others who would do his job 100x better than him. From my perspective, it didn't seem like he cared about the place AT ALL, and everyone else who were treated unfairly cared way more and wanted the shop to look perfect and organized and have product etc etc, and just treated it like it was their own.
When the place first opened, it didn't have a printer, and so one of the guys who worked there would constantly have to print stuff out for everyone (including the manager when, if anything, he should have been the one doing that) like pages and pages of stock takes every day, and whatever else anyone needed to print out, and this went on for months pretty sure they still don't have one to this day lol. Sooo much ink and paper was spent on that and this person did it happily, he wouldnt even be working but he'd be asked to print some stuff out and to bring it to the shop, and he always did with no questions asked.
I know this because I would come in during this persons shift and would see it with my own eyes. I observed this other lady mess up at her job CONSTANTLY, over and over again, like taking the key home and leaving the next person who had to work locked out because she didn't leave the key for them to unlock the shop the next day, and sometimes not answering her phone and the shop would be opened late, there was a couple of days too where she didn't show up for her shift, and for like half of the day, no one could get ahold of her, she would "no call no show" multiple times, and the manager would send a brand new employee over there last minute to cover for her since she was no where to be found and they just had to figure out what to do on their own. she also miscounted the drawer like every day, and it wasn't just a couple dollars short, it was so short that you're like how does this even happen lol. I was convinced that this lady was slowly working her way to being able to access the shop enough to steal from it or something lol cuz that's what it seemed like She tried keeping the key and stuff and she was brand new, and when I heard about it all I was like "okayyy something is fishy about this woman...how is her drawer THAT short at the end of every day?!?" It just seemed fishy to me haha that's how bad it was. and this person still works there to this day even though she's messed up multiple times and doesn't know anything about the products. I went in when she was working and she couldn't give me an answer when I asked her questions about certain products. She seemed sooo lost, like she didn't even know what planet she was on I don't know why/how she is still working there, but the employees who went out of their way to make sure the shop always looked good, even cleaning the parking lot asphalt in the front, and the windows and the whole shop every day, and even brought in their own vacuum and left it there because there wasn't one at the shop yet and because he wanted the other employees to use it on their shifts because he didn't want it to look dirty, and just treated the shop like it was their own - those employees get fired??? How does this make any sense lol. I witnessed so much craziness with that lady messing up and she still has a job there. The guy who sucks at scheduling people still works there... I really don't understand it. I'm shocked that it's even a "Millennium" smoke shop because Millennium is a big name and a very popular smoke shop, they are usually top notch smoke shops and there are tons of locations in the area but idk...this specific millennium reallyyyy gives unprofessional vibes and gives the Millennium name a bad rep hopefully the owner does something about it soon read more
