Not your typical farm store because they carry so much more... including Rk tractors! We moved in 16 to Anderson & bought 16 acres with a home to rehab. So much to come to RK for! (Forgive the preposition at the end of the sentence please !). Before Covid we bought an RK 37 hydrostatic tractor. Then the hunt was on for 3 point accessories. If this RK didn't have it the ones in Kokomo or Greenville did. Service excellent. We have had a couple accidents with that tractor and have had some repairs to do. Service at the Muncie Store has been top-notch. When we're shopping this is one of the places that we always price test and many times we make the 20+ mile trip to Muncie as we are this morning. I guess the only negative that I see is that we tend to eat too much popcorn!

Alright, Menards, you win. We first visited Lowe's, and I thought I'd find what I was looking for…read morethere. No one was nearby to help. And when we went to ask a worker for help, she told us to go to that department to find someone. riiiiiiight. So we left, headed to Anna's BELOVED Menards and found an off-brand version of what I was looking for that does the same exact thing I found online. And we were pointed in precise location by a worker walking the floor. I always thought I was a "Lowe's" person. (We don't have a Home Depot here). But as for local shops like this, consider me converted to a Menards fan.

Wow. I got yelp to literally review this -I don't even know where to begin…read more Several months ago I ordered one piece of wood successfully on the Menards website. I got to the store and after dealing with three different incompetent employees, they couldn't find it -so I told them to just cancel the order. They said they couldn't do it at the lumberyard and sent me to the front. The cashier told me I can cancel it but I would be charged for restocking fee ( mind you this is the product THEY lost somewhere and I literally never had). I asked to talk to the manager who told me it's too bad and I can call corporate because it's their system. FYI- you can't call corporate. Had to make a whole scene. I then walked and tried to order siding only to have to explain to their workers how to use their own website. They were looking at an entirely wrong product on the website and I had to show them how to navigate to the correct one. I'll save you some time- just look online. Dont talk to their unhelpful employees It's quicker, if that's all they're gonna do. What a waste of time. I then went to the paint counter in hopes to get exterior paint. I quickly talked with the worker and asked which exterior paints were best, and he just pointed to each of the ones and said "well this one says it's exterior." ... thank you I can read. Again short and rude and unhelpful. I told him I was wanting to order sample. I looked around for a while, and then when I went to actually get it, he said "oh we don't have exterior paint samples." Lead with that. It was my fault that I gave them one last shot in ordering siding. I successfully ordered it online, waited three weeks, and got a email notification that it was ready to be picked up. Sent my spouse to go get it, and guess what, another fiasco. This order also couldn't be located by the employees and apparently didn't come in and had been mislabeled. They had five other pieces of it and tried to say that was our order (I had ordered 11 pieces...) Honestly, I don't want to make this review too long, but essentially he had to fight that it was the wrong item, they wanted to charge him restocking fees. When he went out to the car to call me and ask my opinion and went back in to go ahead and buy the 5 pieces they had they wouldn't let him because "they already cancelled it". What a mess. Incompetence is one thing but the customer service is horrendous. They should be embarrassed. Run do not walk away from this Menards. Yes Their products are fine, but there is no "corporate" you can call so they can just be jerks, and unhelpful, with no repercussions. Unless you want to be charged for horrible service and being talked down to, do not go near this Menards.

Very bad customer service. I purchased 2 Autumn Blaze Maples from Affordable Tree's in October…read more2014 and paid to have them install them in my yard because I wanted it done professionally, without worry. In the Summer of 2015 i started noticing the tree looked like it was dying. I called Affordable Trees and simply requested they come out an inspection on the tree that I invested $600 in. They said "Sorry we don't offer that service..Its probably just Galls". I asked them two more times to come out and inspect and they declined. Meanwhile my tree is dying. In my opinion, they are just trying to use the "Galls" excuse to buy them time until the warranty expires (next month) I do not recommend this company and have been telling all my neighbors about the disservice going on. The company obviously does not value customer service and does not stand by their products/services.
