**Terrible Experience - Do Not Recommend**
If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at MillBridge Dentistry with Dr. Anait Balasanyan was incredibly distressing and unprofessional. I initially went in for a crown buildup. From the first visit, I noticed a problem. After filing my tooth down, I asked her a few simple questions about the procedure, to which she responded with attitude and clear frustration, as if I wasn't entitled to understand what was happening with my own dental care. She even said, "If you don't trust me, go somewhere else," while my tooth was still exposed. I was left in tears, shaking from how disrespectful and condescending she was.During my follow-up appointment to get the permanent crown, I explained that I had been unable to chew on that side since the temporary crown had been put on, and I was experiencing pain. Despite this, she refused to do an X-ray to check for underlying issues. Dr. Anait Balasanyan flat-out told me that if I didn't like it, I could "get the dental work done somewhere else," all while my tooth was still exposed! Once again, her attitude was beyond condescending.On top of that, during this second visit, I noticed that my gums were infected, and I had to *beg for a prescription mouthwash*to help with the infection, which should have been offered to me without hesitation.
When Dr. Anait Balasanyan finally placed the permanent crown, it was a completely wrong color. When I told her that this wasn't what I had paid for, she tried to bully me into accepting it, even though it was clearly not what I ordered. When I refused, she put a dirty temporary crown back on, causing me severe pain. Once again, I left the office in tears.
At my final visit, things got even worse. They didn't bother numbing me before removing the temporary crown, despite my clear discomfort and pain. I had to ask for numbing, and even then, they gave me only a small amount. I was crying in the chair while they were working on me--it hurt so much. After she finished placing the permanent crown, *she flashed the needle at me and sarcastically asked, "Oh, do you want more numbing now?"* But by that point, the procedure was done. The nerve pain I experienced during that time was unbearable, and she showed zero care or concern. I was still in tears as she got up and vanished from the room without showing final crown. When I called to request a refund, **Dr. Anait Balasanyan claimed she gave me a referral** to see another dentist, but she only gave me the referral because I had asked for one, as I was worried about her work and in pain. I ended up seeing another dentist before the permanent crown was even put in. They did extensive X-rays, which were better than the ones at MillBridge because they didn't have the proper equipment. These X-rays were marked with the date to prove they were done days before she placed the permanent crown. The fact that I still can't eat properly and am in pain is not because I ignored the issue, but because **she did bad work** Now, I need the crown redone, because I can't eat, I am in pain, and it's ugly wrong color and not properly placed and completely shaved down it's basically a white gum blob . but I refuse to go back there. I've requested a refund, but Dr. Anait Balasanyan refused and claimed she wanted to speak to my new dentist, which is not the legal way to handle this. This entire experience was traumatic, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I've since seen another dentist and, unfortunately, had a panic attack during the anesthesia due to my experience at MillBridge Dentistry with Dr. Anait Balasanyan. Please save yourself the emotional and financial stress--do not go to Dr. Anait Balasanyan. The reviews for the office may look good, but I promise you, my experience was nothing short of traumatizing bc of her! I'll be reporting Dr. Anait Balasanyan to the board of dentistry and pursuing a refund for this nightmare. read more
