I blew out my low profile tire when I hit a pot hole. Thank you Cherry Hill roads for renewing my flat changing skills. It had been awhile and that was a lot of fun on a cold, pitch dark night. Anyway I headed over to Mill Street Tire the next morning. I have dealt with Andy before and he did a great job asking me about what happened and explaining my options. They did not have the Continental tire in stock but they were able to get it delivered later in the day and by 5:00 PM my car was ready and I was back in business. They did an excellent and clean job and did not try to up sell me anything. My spare was put away neatly too. MST has excellent prices and service. We started going to 'Mill Street Tire' for tires, but then we started getting our service (oil changes) and repairs (brakes, exhaust, axel boot) done there as well. Turns out their name is actually Mill Street Tire and Auto but most people just call them Mill Street Tire. Absolutely fantastic service. And equally, if not more important, we trust them. I have used Mill Street Tires twice now. Once for a full set of tires and once for a repair. Both were great experiences. For the full set they were comparable in price to one of the on-line tire warehouses, but they procured the tires and installed them the same day I called and there were no hard up-sells or hidden fees. For the repair they were quick and fairly priced. I think they only work on a first come, first served basis but they are pretty accurate with how long the wait should be. We've been using Mill St for many years for various services and especially tires. They provide free rotation for the tires you've purchased there. My last set of tires I ended up purchasing from a dealer as the car was in for some services and I needed tires and I succumbed to the competitive pricing. Long story short, it was time for rotation and I went to Mill St. No charge for the service even though this set of tires was not from them. When I realized MY ERROR, I called and offered to pay for the services provided. They declined as we've been loyal customers. Nice. Did business here for many years with Andy and understand there is now new management. Tried 3 times to get a tire repaired and was told to come back another time. Went in today at 2:30 and there were 3 guys standing around. I was told they couldn't do it and to be there in the morning before they open. Always great experiences with Andy and Joe here. As the other reviews have said, they can beat many of the other places price wise. But the service is just tremendous, and very fair. I overheard a hose clamp reattachment, and Joe asked how long it took. "8 minutes" replied the technician. And that's what they charged the individual. My only concern is that you will have to wait sometimes. They ALWAYS tell you if there will be a wait. Seriously though- they're busy because of such a great reputation. These guys are tire experts, offer great service and are competitively priced with any on-line or mail order tire store. Plus, they'll do all the install work on tires for you. Small jobs like punctures and other tire repairs are never a problem and are usually done in a matter of minutes. What a great find! They just put 4 new tires on my SUV this morning plus performed a synthetic oil change and I was in / out in 90 minutes. These guys are great! I normally hate buying tires because all the major tire chains try to gouge customers with inflated prices, both on the tires and the installation. I'm thorough in my research so I know what is a fair price. This time when buying tires, I thought I'd give Mill Street Tire a try and called them for a price on the tires I wanted and they quoted a great price! No haggling, no BS. By the afternoon they had the tires delivered and the next morning my wife took her car to the shop to have them installed. Prior to that, I had a bad experience at a well known car place who overcharged me and kept me waiting for 2 hours past my scheduled appt prior to starting the work on my car. I go to Mill Street Tire for mounting tires, balancing and wheel alignment. One Viper guy recommended this shop at a car meet. I take my 2 BMW's to this shop and I'm always satisfied. Rich is the alignment guy and he knows what he is doing. Since my car is lowered, they take extra care of taking it on the alignment lift ramp by adding wooden planks so that the bottom of the car doesn't touch the lift. The alignment job is done perfectly. This is the place for car enthusiasts. Also, their prices are the best. read more

I came out of work at about 4:30 and realized I had a flat tire. I was pretty desperate so I called the shop at 5:00 to see if I could stop by for a new tire (keep in mind they close at 6:00) and they said to come by. Got there at about 5:20 and they still took me even though they were closing soon. Had me fixed and ready to go in 15 minutes flat. When my mechanic closed shop last year I was referred to to Mill Street Tire in Moorestown, and I'm so glad I was. Andy and Chris are great guys who tell it to me straight. As a woman (who knows a bit about cars) I hate having men talk down to me when I need a service or have an issue. At Mill Street, it's like having my car worked on by a trusted friend or family member. Recently, my back tire started squealing and grinding. I had a feeling something got stuck or came loose and was just rubbing. I couldn't get an appointment for a few days, but was told to come in early and they'd look at it on the lift. I had all intentions on taking my car here this past weekend, based off good recommendations from family, being that they have great prices and what not, but their business hours are awful. They close at 1pm on saturdays and have no sunday hours. I work full time, Monday -Friday normal business hours and did not want to take time off work in order to bring my car in. I wish the hours were more convenient and I would have given them my business. Fantastic service Arrived in Mt Laurel, NJ to a blow out on my Porsche C4 Cab, which uses a very unique size of tires and has no full size spare. Being over 150 miles from home I knew I had only two choices: find a shop who could replace the tires or have the car towed home. After checking with my shop in Maryland I was referred to Mill Street Tire in Moorestown, needless to say I was concerned working with a new shop in a small town in NJ. I was unbelievably surprised with the team at MST, first they made no attempt to steer me to best return for themselves rather they were concerned with how I drove the car and what would be the right tires for the car, in the end recommending a set of tire that were at the lower end pricewise than the various options (if lower end on Porsche tire is really low priced). They made no attempt to push what they had in stock, rather said they could get whatever I wanted, they would send a truck to find the tires. I dropped the car off and said do whatever needs to be done to get me home that night. That was a wide open door to maximize sales with no fear that I would come back to complain. To my delight they went through the car found a leaking rim, which had caused the failure, sent it out to be repaired, reviewed the other rims and found two that were bent, called me and asked if I wanted them fixed, and then did a great job on them. And by 5:45 they had the car ready to go, in far better shape than it had come in on and at a price that was fair and reasonable. I cannot thank Chris, Andy and the team at MST enough for such outstanding service, honesty and great work. I recommend them to everyone, you can't do better! read more

Overpriced and deceiving. I had 2 front tires replaced. They knew one tire in the back was bad not safe and that tire could have been replaced by one of the 2 front tires they were removing but they never did that or mentioned it . They wanted that rear to fail rather than replacing it by the 1 of the 2 front tires that were being removed so I would come back. Unethical, dangerous and deceptful company. What kind of company does that? I used Mavis tire they are much better. read more

I've used Mill Street many times for new tires. Each time I'm here, I'm impressed by how helpful they are. They always take the time to assess your needs (how much you drive, typical conditions, how long you plan to have the car) and make recommendations accordingly. The price is always presented "all in" so you don't face additional charges afterwards. I stopped in yesterday because one of my tires had a nail in it. They assessed if it could be patched and when it couldn't found a used tire that matched the other three. It was a quick and inexpensive repair! read more
