Well... probably THE worst taxi company I've ever come accross…read more yes, it's 20% offf but unless your willing to put up with the rude, incompetant staff and drivers that they have there, your better off going for a different taxi company that is really only 2-3 euro more expensive. Not only was the man on the phone, the receptionist, rude and a generally vile person to deal with on the phone, he was probably as useful as a rice cracker! The driver turned up... but for about a minute drove off and then rang my number. What use is that ringing me and then driving off? I rang the company back and they said they could not send another driver or the same one as when he arrived there was someone staring out the window at him and made no effort to come out. This might be believable if there had been anyone else in the house at the time apart from myself.... but there wasnt. Just me and I certainly didnt stare out the window at him, no beep, no phone call to say he areived until after he left. Called a differwnt company and got a polite and friendly driver and an even more efficient man dealing with me on the phone. DON'T CALL ASAP unless your willing to put up with rude people and seemingly bad drivers.

Having operated under a few different names over the years, the current Co Op Taxi service draws on a wide network of drivers who are usually within 5 /10 minutes of a pick up destination. Outside of regulated fare costs there are no additional fees for this service -although you may feel obliged to tack on a Thank You for the polite (even charming) manner of the drivers ferrying you about town. The phone-in booking system is a breeze, with hold times greatly reduced now that the service is fully up and running. Within two minutes callers should be able to book their car -frequent users can cut that back even more by registering their phone number with the company. Currently, the only drawback is the missing / broken website which will allow online bookings once all is repaired.

If they don't have a car…read moreavailable at the time you want they'll tell you straight up and not bullshit you and leave you standing on your doorstep for 40 minutes waiting for a non-existent taxi. They're really good about bookings and even though I used them loads of times I've never been left in the lurch by them. I was talking to one of their cabbies one day and he said that the golden rule in this company was always being where you said you'd be and it really really shows. They're always my first call now!
