We have gone to Growing Smiles for every visit since my 4.5-year-old daughter started needing…read moredental care. The staff is welcoming and patient, the office is clean, and scheduling is easy. The exam room has a TV on the ceiling so kiddos are distracted while dental work is being done. Kids also get a token to use for a prize once the exam is complete. Standard cleanings have gone really well. Recently, my daughter fell off of her bike and landed on her face. Everything seemed fine until two weeks later when one of her front teeth started turning gray. We called the office and were reassured that all should be fine, teeth bruise, and as long as long as she is not in pain and her gum looks ok we can wait until her next exam which was only a week and a half away. I felt so much better. I cannot imagine a better pediatric dental experience!

Everything about the office is super exciting and inviting -- especially for a two year old! I don't think he felt an ounce of fear. The dental hygienist did a great job showing him the tools and being so patient with him. It warmed my heart to see how much they truly care about the kids. They have tvs on the screen, which I think makes for the perfect distraction. He flossed, got a cleaning, and then our dentist, Dr Shah, came in and looked over his teeth and gave us some tips/tricks for brushing with a two year old. She is great and we feel like our little guy is in the best hands!

They charged me about 450$ for nitrous gas and the treatment. He would not sit still. He has terrible anxiety about the noise and the look of the instruments. The Dr. who was extremely pleasant and patient said she would give him a temporary sealant. This temporary sealant fell off while we were flossing and brushing. They set up a new appointment and quoted me 105$ and after we went the second time the charge was 275$. How did something go from 105 to 275? 675$ for one tooth that was never filled after three visits? Sinful. Today we went to get the regular check up at our dentist around the corner. The dentist told me that whatever they filled the tooth with has fallen out. I'm 675 plus out of pocket and there is still a cavity in his mouth that has not been filled. This Yummy dental is a scam for either people who have money to burn or your insurance covers everything. Will never be going there again. I'd like my money back. Send me a check.

I also found the paperwork confusing and ended up paying so much more than I expected. I don't know that I would have had a better experience somewhere else or if it was just going to be traumatic no matter what, but it wasn't a good experience.

I gave this place a high rating a few years ago, but at this time, Greed and selfishness is all…read morethis business seems to be about now. Allow me to elaborate: We have Cigna PPO dental and it's a pretty decent plan that allows us to visit any location even if they are out of network. So this place used to be in network with Cigna PPO which was great but then decided they were no longer to be in network with them, which is fine! I don't have a problem with that at all. The issue I do have is my Cigna PPO still allows me to visit this location and will pay sometimes 100% sometimes 80% or whatever, depending on the procedure. But Bright Smiles told me I have to pay EVERYTHING up front even though it may be covered by insurance and then I would be reimbursed after they determine what was and wasn't covered. I've never met any doctor or dentist who wouldn't just submit everything to insurance first and then send me a bill for the remainder after everything was processed. It's pure Greed. I'm very dissatisfied they went this route, I've had all my bills in the past with them always paid but now they won't provide any service unless I pay whatever they are asking and then after everything is cleared with insurance I must wait for reimbursement. I just think if you have PPO dental insurance bright smiles should submit everything to the insurance first and then after everything is settled then they should send you the remaining bill, if there even is one. Maybe I was told misinformation at which point please tell me and I will continue to bring my children here and change my review but so far I've spoken to 2 different people at the office and that's what I was told. Hoping to get a response on this. Thank you.

Dr Daza designed a plan with me, walked me through every step, addressed my worries and anxieties. She is patient, good natured, and so very knowledgeable. She also goes above and beyond. This week she saw my mother in law for emergency tooth pain and infection. My MIL lives in another country and is 72 years old. Dr Daza fit her into her busy schedule, patiently examined and diagnosed her, and referred her to a surgeon for root canal. Even though the office was clearly busy, I never once felt rushed or like just another patient on a list. The entire team was incredibly attentive and genuinely focused on making sure I was comfortable and okay. I ended up needing a crown, and they handled everything right then and there, no temporary fix, no waiting weeks for a crown. The fact that they were able to complete the entire procedure on the spot was impressive on its own, but what stood out even more was the quality of the work and the care behind it. Jackie and Dr. Rob were exceptional. They walked me through everything, made sure I felt at ease, and checked in constantly throughout the process. For something that could have been stressful, they made it seamless. I'm beyond grateful for the level of professionalism, efficiency, and compassion I experienced. Couldn't recommend them more. Thank you again! Ps: even got an eye mask and hand mask to relax later!

I had a mixed but ultimately negative experience with this provider and would not return…read more At my initial visit, there were some early concerns. The doctor repeatedly emphasized how busy he is, which came across as rushed and somewhat dismissive. Before proceeding with treatment (Botox for TMJ), I reached out via email and phone with specific questions, including a request for him to consult with my neurologist, which my neurologist recommended. I was told that the doctor deemed the consultation unnecessary and that he would address any questions at the time of the appointment. I was also told he was too busy to review my questions in advance. This made it difficult to feel fully informed or confident going into the procedure. I decided to pursue the procedure anyway. To his credit, during the procedure he did answer my questions and agreed to treat the requested area. However, at my two-week follow-up, I reported increased pain that had been impacting my ability to work and function. The doctor shared a story about another patient he described as someone who complains all the time. The story felt indirect but strongly implied that patient concerns like mine might be exaggerated. This made me feel uncomfortable and dismissed at a time when I was seeking support and clarity about worsening symptoms. Additionally, while in the waiting room, I observed another patient being questioned in a similarly dismissive tone when she asked for additional help post-treatment. This reinforced my concern about how patient concerns are handled in this practice. Overall, while the procedure itself was completed, the communication style, lack of responsiveness beforehand, and dismissive handling of post-procedure concerns made this a negative experience. I would encourage others to ask detailed questions in advance and consider whether this practice is a good fit for them. Long-term results of my treatment experience are yet to be determined, but I will not be returning due to the unprofessional manner in which the provider speaks about, and to, patients.
