We did not hear the original comment, but it was clear from the conversation that something inappropriate had been said. The mother seemed genuinely upset, and the situation became uncomfortable for everyone in the store. Whether intentional or not, employees should be respectful and professional when interacting with customers. Hearing a parent feel the need to defend her child in front of other customers was concerning. I hope management looks into what happened and addresses it appropriately. We have always had positive experiences here, but this incident left a bad impression on our family.

The setting has indoor seating with views of the water. Outdoor space is plentiful. New: 7 AM opening service Snowy Owl Coffee and Shakerato's. Of course at 12, the gelato is served.
