Came on a Monday. They have a happier hour special with discounted drinks and appetizers. Had the chicken bites, cauliflower bites, artichoke dip and 1989 burger with Belgian moon. Also tried the key lime pie. Sat by the bar area. It was quite sunny and you either have to fully close the blinds or keep it open. Blinds are a solid cloth, no in between. The appetizers were tasty. I really liked the artichoke and spinach dip, however, it didn't come with much nacho chips. The burger was tasty and was a full meal. It came with string fries which were crispy. The cauliflower bites looked like it was chicken bites, it was all right. I didn't try the chicken bites because I got full with the other food orders. Service was friendly. Would try again.

I really like the variety of options they have on the halal menu. I've tried a few options already and I really enjoyed the butternut squash ravioli and chicken bowl (not pictured). The chicken Parmesan is alright and lacks flavour. Definitely, will come back to try more items from the menu. The service is good and friendly. Great to come with coworkers, friends and family

3.5 Visited here on the first day of re-opening as part of COVID phase 2. I was a little apprehensive at first but seeing how many precautions they were taking put me at ease. The staff really take time to wipe everything down (tables, chairs, handles etc). All staff were wearing masks as well, and tables were distanced apart. It felt so nice to eat out and sit in the sun on a Friday evening after work for the first time in what felt like forever. The food at Milestones is nothing special, but it was prepared well and promptly. The plating was nice too, and the patio ambience was great. The fish tacos were nice, I especially liked the aioli served on top. And I ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri which was quite tangy, but nonetheless tasty. I would dine at Milestones again in the future!

Here starts my long string of reviews since I haven't been reviewing much. I came here with my immediate family (a group of 12) for my grandparents anniversary. We called ahead but since it was a busy night they told us it'd be an hour wait. I came a bit early with my uncle just to reserve the table and we sat at the bar, watched some sports and had a few drinks. I haven't been to this milestones in a while. It gives the vibe of a classy sports bar. After being seated, we started with the asian chicken bites. Very good starter and definitely would recommend. It comes with a sweet and sour sauce and a hint of spice. We also got chips and spinach dip - it's okay, not as good as the chicken bites. For my meal I got the 1989 burger, well seasoned and tasty. The fries were pretty good too. Each meal was well portioned and there isn't much to complain about. The service the was great, we had a server that was very nice. Although, there were times where we needed refills on water or extra orders etc. and took some time to get her attention. Anyways, pretty good food. I'd come again for any occasion.

Poor service. The waitress didn't ask how are we doing or if we need anything after we got our food. The manager was a lot nicer. Food was mediocre. Way too many better options in the city so won't be returning.

Well really big portions of the meal that do justice to the price. On a Saturday afternoon barely any wait time - Call prior to arrival we had returned back a couple of times due to long hours of wait time. Absolutely loved the sweet chilli chicken bowl and the crispy brussel sprouts. The seafood spaghetti had a strong fish sauce or oyster sauce flavor - not much for me but a sea food lover may enjoy this. The brunch menu looked pretty good - may give it a try. Service was pretty good and fast.

Surfside salad was pretty boring. It was healthy, but I should have tried something else.

Would I go again if someone bought again? Yes. Would I go if I had a date or wanted to impress? Likely not. It's a chain and a nice chain, but it didn't really do it for me. The hosts were friendly, but it just felt like a veneer. The waitress was phenomenal, so that made up for things. She was very attentive, very good and generally what you would want in a waitress. We had a wide variety of appetizers which seemed to me to be a couple steps above bar food. Nothing great, nothing terrible. I kind of liked the sweet yam fries the best. I had the surfside salad. I don't think I would get it again. A couple small chunks of salmon and a few shrimp of unknown origin in a bland salad. If you want healthy, this may be the thing for you. As a taste and meal, it just wasn't prepared very well and was about what you would consider average. Pro-tip: Parking is tough, so don't park where you might get towed. Pay attention to who allows which customers to park where.

+1 updates review. This one kinda late but we ate here for my brothers bday/Mother's Day. 2 in 1! Service was much better this day and it was busy. Quite inconsistent to the last times I've came here and mentioned slow service. Food was great and they were having a fix prix menu for Mother's Day plus a coupon to use for brunch next time!

Excellent!!! Went there for dinner... nice ambiance, good service, good selections in the menu. We had Steak Frites, medium-rare. It was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. A bit mild for taste buds, but has rich flavour. Also had Cakes by the Ocean (crisp quinoa-crusted shrimp ans salmon cakes). It was delicious!! The presentation of the foods were superb and appetizing.

This was the "official" dinner for my wife's 50th birthday. We went her cause we wanted a little more upscale but not crazy expensive. Our waitress was bubbly & delightful, smiling & polite. The food....not great. I had the 3 part meal combo. Mine was the meatloaf sliders with Koby mustard & crispy onion strings which were hot & tasty. The combo was with Portobello Mushroom Chicken & veggies. Pasta & Chicken were very good but the veggies were cold. Dessert was a Ganache Torte w ice cream which was good. Wife's was Caesar with grilled chicken & cheesecake. All good but not great. I believe that if you position your restaurant as a quality house & your place is very quiet on a Sunday nite....you should turn out piping hot great quality food. Not the mediocre stuff we ate here. I would spend my hard earned dollars at a place that over represents themselves again. Not a do-over.

Food: Relatively good food. Portions are fair and I leave the restaurant content and satisfied. Atmosphere: Nothing special. It is clean, looks organized, and there's nothing to complain about. Lighting is dimmed, similar to other restaurants (Scaddabush, Earls, etc.) Service: Good, average, & straightforward. Nothing to complain about and nothing to praise over. Price: Little pricey. Around the same price range as Jack Astor's, Moxies, Earls, Scaddabush, etc. ($15-30 for mains) Recommend? Sure, but not a must.

Service was great, staff were very friendly and spent their time explaining the menu and giving their recommendations as well. We (part of four) ordered the following: Silog Sampler - variety of savory seasoned meats (pork chop, beef, chicken and pork) served with garlics rice and egg - absolutely delicious and a good size to share between 2 people - 9/10 Sisig Sampler - $19.99 - large dish with a variety of different meats; chopped pork jowl, pork belly, chicken, tofu mixed and seasoned with calamansi, onions and mayo. The menu leans fusion, so there was a lot to try, and overall it felt like a fun place to share plates and compare notes with the table. The cocktails definitely stood out for being stronger than the usual lighter, sweeter drinks you get elsewhere, and the smoky cinnamon one was probably the most memorable. For appetizers, the beef tartare with bone marrow was the clear winner for me. The tartare tasted bright and fresh, and the marrow was rich without feeling greasy. The mussels were also enjoyable, mostly because they were fresh and sat in a creamy broth that made the whole dish feel comforting. We also tried the octopus with pumpkin purée, which had a nice chewy texture and a lovely sweetness from the purée, although a slight charred taste came through more than I personally wanted. For mains, a few dishes landed better than others. The ribeye with chimichurri was one of the stronger choices, tender, properly cooked medium rare, and especially good with that sharp, herbaceous sauce. The ribs were also very tender and full of flavor. The salmon in puff pastry was enjoyable enough that I would order it again, even though the pastry itself was a little softer than I expected. The udon carbonara was decent and comforting, but probably not the most memorable thing on the table, and the signature chicken had flavorful meat even if the rice leaned a bit too soft for me. One small complaint I kept coming back to was the bread, which tasted more charred than I like. Still, Wilcox feels like a nice little spot for a relaxed dinner with drinks, especially if you go in the mood to share, explore the menu, and order a few of the stronger dishes.

During that time, I made multiple attempts to get a server's attention, but staff consistently avoided eye contact and rushed past without acknowledging me. Eventually, I had to interject just to ask about my order, only to find out it had already been prepared and sitting off to the side the entire time. As a result, I stood there unnecessarily while my food was getting cold and by the time I got home, it was no longer enjoyable, and considered throwing it out. What's most frustrating is that this could have been resolved easily if even one staff member had acknowledged me and checked whether I was waiting for pickup. Instead, I was completely ignored despite standing directly in front of the pickup area, while other customers were being assisted. I understand it was busy due to Good Friday, and there were several other customers waiting. However, that makes it even more important to have a basic system in place, for example, having one staff member greeting customers, managing pickups, or clearly directing where to go. As a first-time customer, there was no clear process, no signage, and no way to tell whether my order was ready, which added to the confusion. I hope this feedback is taken seriously.
