Here we are 19 years later having my 12 year old doing the same thing. Some insurance is accepted if approved by your insurance company too. Doctors are knowledgeable and clean and polite. 1000% recommended if your in area and need to find orthodontist.

Every time I arrived for my monthly visits, the staff were so professional and gracious. Often times I needed to reschedule an appointment and there was never a problem. Dr. Pliakas is excellent and honest. He makes sure to keep you, the patient, aware of what he is doing. I was never in the dark about anything and I trusted him wholeheartedly. When COVID-19 came, everything was handled superbly. Appointments were suspended until it was safe. Masks continued to be required and a strict protocol was observed each time I arrived (reading my forehead for my temperature and sanitizing my hand). Eventually my braces were removed and throughout my follow up visits I felt very welcomed. His assistants were the best!! I would recommend Dr. Pliakas and his team at Central Park Orthodontics to anyone in need of braces or other work needed. This was a fantastic experience AND I get to walk away with a great smile!

I asked multiple times if there was any way to confirm my insurance coverage before coming in, and they said that was not possible. When I arrived for my consultation, the person working the front desk was able to tell me that they did not take my insurance just from me providing the name of my insurance (which I had provided over the phone). I asked why they could not have told me this over the phone to spare me coming in for no reason, and the front desk person said "I don't know why the person who took your call didn't tell you that." I will say that everyone who I interacted with in person was nice and courteous, but I was frustrated that the person who took my call mislead me and wasted my time.
