Her Soft laser specialty for lip-tie and tongue-tie release is life changing for her patients. I've been in the dental field for 30 years now and admire how professional she is and an excellent clinician.

Dr. Golestani was extremely informative and kind, and Dr. Natalie was wonderful with my children. During that visit, it was recommended that my 7-year-old son have a baby tooth extracted because his adult tooth had already begun to grow behind it, and the baby tooth was not loose. Fast forward to today, and we had an appointment scheduled for Friday, 12/13/2024, for the extraction. On Tuesday, my husband called the office with questions about the procedure, specifically regarding the use of laughing gas and the numbing process. He first spoke with Chelsea at the front desk, who was very polite and provided some answers. She also emailed us instructions to review before the visit. After reading the instructions and discussing the call, we had additional questions, so my husband called back. The second time, he spoke with a male staff member whose name we didn't catch. Unfortunately, the information he provided was unclear, and there seemed to be a misunderstanding about what we were asking. We wanted to know if laughing gas was a mandatory part of the procedure, as I recalled having a similar extraction as a child with just numbing, no gas. Additionally, we were curious about why we were instructed to give our son 1 tsp of Benadryl an hour before the procedure and wanted to understand the rationale behind that step. We also noticed that the instructions stated parents would need to wait in the waiting room during the procedure, which concerned us. After several calls, my husband mentioned that the last two people he spoke with--the male staff member and Edy, the office manager--were rude. He understood they might have been frustrated with the repeated calls, but their tone was unprofessional and unacceptable. Hearing this, I decided to step away from work to call the office myself. When I called, Chelsea answered and, as before, was kind and tried to help. She explained that Edy, the office manager, would be better able to address my questions but was on lunch at the time. Edy later returned my call, but we missed it, so I called her back. While Edy answered my questions, she did not apologize for the way she spoke to my husband. On Wednesday, I called again to speak with Chelsea because I appreciated her politeness and wanted to see if we could request an exception to allow one of us to stay in the room with our son during the procedure. Chelsea informed me that their director did not permit parents in the procedure room. While she wasn't rude, this policy left us feeling uncomfortable. To gain more perspective, we contacted three other pediatric dental offices to ask about their procedures for baby tooth extractions. Each of them said parents were welcome in the room, as if it were standard practice. After this, my husband and I decided to postpone our son's procedure and cancel the appointment at this office. At 4:15 PM, I called the office to cancel the appointment. My call went to voicemail, and I received a text message stating that the office was closed. However, their website clearly showed they were open until 6:00 PM. Out of curiosity, I called again using a different number, and the male staff member answered the phone. I told him who I was and mentioned that I had been sent to voicemail earlier and received a text stating the office was closed, which was untrue. I also brought up my husband's earlier experience with him and Hedy, expressing our disappointment. It's unfortunate because I really liked Dr. Golestani. However, due to the way the front desk staff--specifically the male employee and Edy--handled this situation, we will not be returning to this office. As a family visiting for the first time, we had valid concerns and questions about a procedure for our young child. We did not appreciate the dismissive attitude, the rude tone, or the misleading voicemail and text. As the first point of contact for patients, the front desk staff should be kind, patient, and professional. I wish I could let Dr. Golestani know directly about how we were treated because this experience does not reflect well on the office overall.

We live in Los Angeles and were visiting family in New Jersey. While we were there the wire in my…read moreson's braces popped out and we couldn't get it back in. It was a Saturday and I started randomly calling orthodontists. I reached Dr. Sacks' office and explained the situation and the pain my son was in. They were empathetic to our situation and told us to come right over. We got to the office, waited 10 minutes and then the Dr. saw us. It was like watching a NASCAR pit crew take the tires off a car. They popped the bands off the brackets, took out the old wire and inserted a new one with no questions asked. They were just helping a Dad out of town with a kid in need. A couple of things (a) I realize we got lucky it was the 1 Saturday a month the Dr. had office hours and (b) we were lucky he was able to slide us into his schedule...but the truth is his office could've told us were not patients, "sorry," or "our schedule is too full, sorry," and they didn't. To me that is not only a sign of a good doctor but a great person.

Dr. Sacks is a perfectionist in the best way. My bite has improved and I'm even noticing changes in my snoring. His whole team is kind and professional, but Dr. Sacks was my main provider and I couldn't recommend him more. Fantastic experience from start to finish!

My wife Danielle does not have a yelp account so I am posting on her behalf:…read more I have had over 20 years of Dental issues regarding my teeth. In my 20's I broke my 2 front teeth and got them bonded. In my 30's I needed braces due to earlier health issues. Fast forward to now at 51 finding Dr Zev Segal who truly is Magical!!! I have had my 2 front teeth bonded over and over for the past 4 years, every 6 months. I had finally had enough and researched the best Dentists in NJ. I came across The Art of Smile and put my faith in all of the positive reviews. The moment you walk in the door you are greeted with such a genuine greeting ( through masks of course). The women at the Front Desk are so professional and a pleasure to work with. Timing is impeccable with your appointment and then there is Dr. Segal along with Bonnie who are the Dynamic Duo! Dr. Segal went over all of the benefits of getting Veneers to correct all of my issues I had been going through. He even introduced me to his wife who had Veneers done over 20 years ago and looked fantastic. I was able to work out financing and within 2 weeks my teeth are Spectacular!! The execution start to finish was flawless. I am so thankful I found The Art of Smile, and so will you.

Absolutely do not recommend this practice…read more I ended up here for an emergency appointment in March of 2024. I went back for a cleaning & they talked me into spending $900 out of pocket for perio trays, which were going to heal my gums, and "push the gel up into the gums" I used the trays but never saw any improvement. Went back to a previous dentist that was in network & now closer to where I moved. They asked me when my last cleaning was, and I said March of 2024. They said that some of my build up was black, meaning it has been there for quite a while and there's no way the previous place did any level of quality cleaning. I told them about the perio trays, and they had never even heard of them and said that it was absolutely impossible for anything to be pushed up into the gums like Art of Smile convinced me the perio trays do. At this time, they referred me to a periodontist for an evaluation because of gum inflammation & bleeding and I had a deep scaling done & gums already feel & look better in TWO WEEKS with 90% less bleeding. Periodontist never heard of Perio trays either. In summary, The Art of Smile: - Didn't do a quality teeth cleaning - Wasted $900 dollars out of pocket for something that wasn't even capable of what they claimed - Never mentioned that they didn't take my insurance, so everything was taken out of my small out of network amount - Didn't inform me of the level of my gum issue - Didn't refer me to a periodontist or recommend a deep cleaning - Had to chase them for months for a receipt for FSA - which disabled my card for months, then couldn't even provide me with an itemized receipt (HOW?) - There was a small space between two of my teeth, AOS told me I should just replace both teeth to fill in the gap. That gap was caused by my gum inflammation and will close as my gums heal after the deep scaling. - When I complained to them, they didn't even apologize. Just told me they'd remove me from their list & have a good day. All of these things, allowed my condition to worsen. This practice is absolutely deplorable, and the fact that you can't hold any of these horrible places accountable is astonishing. I don't ever write reviews, but I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through and waste their time or money.
