Everything done quickly with guidance for us as unfamiliar with some of the local nuances. Went from "we could move to Cape Cod" to closing in 90 days. Friendly, knowledgeable, local service with the human touch by people who answer their phones or call back. Don't do this very often and seemed a fair value for the services received. Comparison shopping suggests origination and closing fees combined were lower than average. Would recommend this team for your needs on or near the Cape.

While meeting with my financial planner recently, we identified a shortfall in income stream. As I…read more had sufficient equity in my home, it was decided that I should seek a reverse mortgage. I did a great deal of research, online and with financial sector contacts and settled upon Slade Mortgage. It is likely one of the best decisions I have ever made. From the initial call to closing, Mike Burton, Megan Brooks and the entire staff made the experience a pleasure. The first contact offered me the opportunity to state my goals and to listen to the offerings available. When I went to meet with the team at Slade Mortgage (you can meet at their office, your home, wherever is most convenient for you), I was greeted by an incredible staff of underwriters and mortgage professionals, who presented me with a wide array of options for my needs. We settled upon a course of action and I was delighted to spend a couple of weeks of drama-free time awaiting the closing. One thing I must emphasize; be prepared with all documentation requested. Your due diligence will streamline the process and lessen any stress. Actually, stress never entered the experience. I felt understood, heard and supported throughout the entire time I worked with Slade Mortgage. I was never pressured to enter into a transaction I did not need/want, and the voluminous paperwork and regulations were explained to me in detail. I felt no hesitation in obtaining a reverse mortgage from Slade Mortgage - there was nothing untoward, no red flags, just competence and dedication to getting everything right the first time. I cannot recommend Slade Mortgage enough for reverse mortgage needs. I trusted them with my future and have not hesitated to laud their service, both financially and customer-oriented. A group of hard working people, they seek to not just satisfy their clients, but to delight them. From immediate phone call returns to making house calls for documents, there are no limits to what the Slade family will do to accomplish your goals. It was an unexpectedly stellar experience resulting from a less than stellar situation.

They were fantastic - everything you hope a real estate agent would do for you. They were honest with us about how to price the property for a quick sale. Their estimate was right on the dot with my estimate. The last thing we wanted was for a real estate agent to promise us they could sell at a high price in this difficult market, and have it sit on the market for months. They told us what we had to do to physically prepare the house for sale, and took great pictures for the online sites. They found out what had to be done with the fire alarms so they were up to code, to prevent delays in the negotiation. They were our advocates during the negotiation process with the buyer, and they really acted in our best interest. We had the place sold within 2.5 months of the initial posting!

From selling as is, to taking the time to fix up the property and get maximum value. After some discussion, it was agreed to go with the latter plan. This is where Rob really rolled up his sleeves and worked hard. Rob, ordered all of the inspections, brought in his stager/designer to discuss what changes and improvements would maximize the selling price of the home. He then got a contractor in, supervised the completion of the scope of work and maintained quality control. Rob kept me updated throughout the process. As I mentioned, I am located out of state and during the entire time, I never had to fly in! The final result was a record sale in the neighborhood. As a client, I highly recommend Rob and his ability to get the job done right. If I ever do need property bought or sold in the bay area, I would definitely use Rob again. We discussed several courses of action, and he suggested as to what he thought would work best. The selling strategy we chose together, had multiple offers in less than a week, the property ended up setting a new complex record for price by just under 10% and was an easy 10 day all cash close. Rob was happy to do the heavy lifting and kept me informed throughout the process. If you want an agent that will get you the most for your property and make the process easy for you as a client, Rob is your best option. Home purchase: We needed to pick up a property expeditiously in an extremely competitive market. This was due to limited time on a 1031 exchange. Since we needed to act quickly. We worked strategically and expeditiously to find the right property. We found an incredible property and I must admit, we all thought it was going to be exceedingly difficult to land in such a competitive market. Rob negotiated with the other agent and explained why we as clients would be a great option for the seller (even with a contingency of sale) in such a competitive market! We were fortunate enough to land the property and we could not be happier. If you are looking for an agent who is not afraid to negotiate and apply some out of box thinking, I look no further than Rob!
