I have been taking my 2 young kids to Milestone for a couple of years now. My son can be less than cooperative much of the time and has pretty typical fears and hesitations. Dr. Price has what seems to be endless levels of patience and he and his team have so many tricks up their sleeves to encourage cooperation and to calm fears. I have never been made to feel unwelcome or like our concerns are a nuisance or frustration. Typically if one hygienist is not able to get my babe to cooperate, she'll find another tech that has different techniques and is able to help him understand and feel comfortable with whatever procedure is happening. The staff is all incredibly friendly and encouraging. Dr. Price knows what he is doing. He is gentle, patient and efficient with his techniques. We often leave with new tips and never shame. On top of it all, the facility is CLEAN, bright and very kid friendly. As long as we are in driving distance to Milestone, we'll be patients here. I'm so grateful for this team and the care they provide every time we're there. read more

We just brought our two year old in for his first dentist appointment and WOW. We were on the waitlist for about 3-4 months and I'm so glad we waited. Dr. Price is amazing with kids, so much patience and silly songs, toys and the giant alligator with teeth. My son was pretty nervous at first but then left really confident and excited. Dr. Davis and his staff are, in a word: God sent. Let me explain... My oldest has legitimate Dental Anxiety. Not "I don't like the dentist" anxiety but uncontrollable crying, not being able to understand her words through sobbing, kind of terror. On the way to the dentist she asks for turn by turn communication on how close we are. She has visited 4 different Dentists in attempts to get her a Dentist she is comfortable with and hoping we could get some x-rays. All attempts failed until Dr. Davis and the staff at Milestone Kids Dentistry. (You may have stopped reading by now but trust me, keep reading, because I go into detail about the entire visit). When we walked in we (my daughter and I) were both greeted with warm welcoming smiles at the reception desk. As the Receptionist got a picture of my daughter for her file, she made sure to make it fun, exciting and engaging. This is important because they didn't just greet me and deal with me...they made it a point to recognize my child. This is the first thing that began to calm her nerves. Then came a tour of the office by the Dental Assistant and the area where the X-rays would be done. This is usually where the anxiety starts to peak. Getting the x-ray film in your teeth is a pain, even for an adult, but the Dental Assistant made this so much more bearable for my daughter and Me. She said things like "open your mouth like a lion" and made the experience fun. The x-ray method is different than a typical "imaging arm" coming from above to be shoved in your face. The they use camera looks like the "stinky gun" from the movie Despicable Me (this is what the dental assistant called it). The Dental Assistant did a great job in making her laugh and smile.... she almost made it a game. I wish I could remember her name but regardless, she was wonderful. There were signs of anxiety during the X-rays. But NOTHING like what we have seen before. They were actually able to get images. For the first time EVER, we had images of her teeth. I can't tell you how much this meant to me as her father. I was so grateful for the care, attention and effort that went into getting my kiddo through this part of the visit. Then came the exam. We met Dr. Davis who is an incredibly kind guy and I can tell he just wants the best for my kids oral health. He was very interactive with my child and made sure to build a rapport with her before going into the exam. No unnecessary procedures or poking or prodding. He looked in my kiddos mouth, got the info he needed and was out. Dr. Davis answered all my questions a did not make me feel like a failed father due to my child's dental needs. He mentioned that he could tell we brush her teeth well but that just some kids have softer teeth and that we need to make some dietary changes. At NO TIME was I made to feel incompetent or like a father that had failed my child. (Side note: they gave her some fun sunglasses to keep the bright light out of her eyes. They also gave her Bluetooth headphones and had a TV on the ceiling to keep her distracted during the exam.) Let's not kid ourselves, there was still anxiety from my child and there were still a couple of tears during the visit but NOTHING like what we have experienced before. Now on to Billing. The young lady that helped us explained everything in great detail and because of the amount of work needed we were able to have some options for making sure the bill gets paid. I won't get into particulars on this because it may be on a situational basis and I don't want to commit the office to something that they do on a situational basis. But I want to say that we were well taken care of. The entire visit was enough of a positive experience that when my daughter was running a fever weeks later and I said we needed to go to the doctor, she asked if we could go to Dr. Davis...she felt comfortable going back. This is a huge step for her. So there you have it... I don't write reviews often but this place deserves it. Thank you to everyone at Milestone. Since that visit, I have taken both of my other younger children to Dr. Davis and they loved visiting him as well. read more

If you are pregnant, or already have children you should definitely start planning to take them to this dentist. I can not even begin to express how amazing Dr Price and his entire staff is. They genuinely care about their patients, and are such a joy to be around. Both of our kids love Dr Ryan (they call him). You can tell that Dr Price and his assistants truly love what they do. Our children look forward to going there to see them. They have cute songs they sing to the kids while getting their teeth brushed and engage in conversation with the kids during the whole appointment. My son is "that 3 year old" so I was dreading taking him to the dentist, but am very happy with Dr. Mccoy and Milestone kids Dentistry! Very big and nice lobby/waiting area with wifi, keurig coffee/beverages for parents, big colorful chairs and play area for kids. The office is large and very clean, and staff are very helpful, understanding and patient. I was impressed by how kids friendly everything was (Even playing Disney music) and how clean it was, I feel like the place almost sparkled-- Maybe I'm use to kids= messy environment?! It just seemed very well put together and organized. We were given a tour prior to the beginning of the appointment. The dental assistant explained everything that would happen before my son was seen by Dr. Mccoy, and with as challenging as my 3 year old did, they were very patient with him. My son had broken a tooth and Dr. Mccoy explained to me what to look for if infection occurred, what the result was and what would happen with future treatment. At the end, they gave him a token to get a toy out of the machine-- yes a small and simple gesture, but really, something that stuck out in my sons mind as related the dentist to being a "fun place" He kept telling his dad about going to the "Dennest" so thats a pretty good indicator for us that it stuck out in his mind as a positive experience. read more

My 7 year old daughter was referred to Dr.McCoy today to get an extraction done on a tooth.we were both very nervous.when we got there I walked in, and it was beautiful. very clean, plenty toys to suit all ages, even adults. The staff was extremely friendly.my daughter was instantly comfortable.we thought it was only going to be an exam, Dr.McCoy got us in very fast explained every minute of the exam talked my child through it, and even got two teeth extracted with no anesthesia the same day.i am so incredibly pleased and my daughter can't wait to see them in 6 months for her cleaning.thank you so much. read more

Update: my son was seen for his first routine visit here. We were charged for numerous things that were unnecessary. We will not be going back. My son was referred here for fillings in multiple teeth. Our first two visits were fantastic. They went so well that I switched his future cleanings to their office from our primary dentist. Unfortunately during his 3rd appointment our clinician was less than welcoming and seemed put off by my desire to be in the room during his treatment (the prior clinician never implied that was optional, she simply invited me into the room). Her mannerisms and abrasiveness made my son and I really uncomfortable. Because of this I requested a different clinician for his next appointment, the front desk scheduled us and said it wouldn't be an issue. However, for his 4th appointment it was the same clinician and the same issues. My 5 year old is now afraid of the dentist and was nearly in tears when he saw her in the waiting room. For our 5th and final visit we had a positive experience with a new clinician, which is why I gave 3 stars. If they had been able to follow through with a new clinician, the first time it was requested, I would highly recommend this place. read more

My 4 year old son was scheduled for a cleaning with Dr McCoy at Milestone Kids Dentistry next month, however, he bumped his front tooth loose yesterday, and Milestone was able to get us in this morning to take a look & for the cleaning. It was our first time visiting Milestone, and I must say that I was so extremely impressed! The facility is the most gorgeous dental office I've ever seen! It's a pediatric dental office, so I figured going in that it would be very kid friendly, but it was above and beyond my expectations. The staff was amazingly friendly and warm, and Dr McCoy was so great! The dental assistant gave my son and me a tour before they got started, and the exam spaces were state of the art. Dr McCoy walked me through the results of his x-rays and explained everything regarding his loose front tooth. I cannot say enough about Milestone Kids Dentistry, and I will soon be establishing care for my infant daughter, too! read more

My daughter recently had her 2nd visit to this office. Everything went fine the first time around, no problems with billing and the people were nice. This last time has been nothing but a headache. When we got there I signed the form that said I would not owe anything About a week after our visit I received the statement from my insurance saying I owed money, I immediately called the office and they said my account was clear and everything was paid. Last week I received a bill from their office for services. They were unsympathetic when I called and told me it's my fault for not knowing everything on my plan. They recommend x-rays and fluoride each time, but most insurance doesn't cover that. At no time during the visit did they tell me this or give me the option to decline the services. They are your stereotypical dentist office looking to bill you for anything and everything and get as much money from you as possible. read more

we took our twins in for their first appointment today and from the moment we walked in the door we were pleasantly surprised. the front desk attendant was super friendly and helped us get the kids set up to play with the offices toddler toys while I filled out a few pieces of paper. once we were checked in, melissa, the dental assistant showed us around the office and made us comfortable as we waited only moments for doctor mccoy to come do the twins' first exam. he was super friendly and great with the kids. the appointment was quick and informative and best of all, my kids still love brushing their teeth. dentists don't scare my littles cause we had such a great experience. I highly recommend dr. mccoy and milestone kids dentistry. read more
