This is a little lengthy but is the experience we just went through with their service department. Took our 2024 Chevy Equinox in because the engine light was on. This was on 10.7.24 and at 7:30 in the morning, so first thing on a Monday. Guy immediately goes out and sticks that reader thing underneath to get the error code. Doesn't tell me what it is, he probably didn't know because he's just an advisor, but I was fine with that because I figured they'd have to keep it to diagnose and get parts. The car is under warranty so I figured it would be taken care of. We call later that same day to check for an update with the situation because we've heard nothing from them. They tell my wife it's an easy fix and will be done by end of the day and they'd call when it was ready. That call never comes so I call and they tell me it's a switch they need to replace but they'd had to order it and would be in and repaired on Tuesday which is fine because we'd planned on that in the first place. Tuesday comes and I just have a bad feeling how this entire thing is starting to unfold because of their lack of communication with us, so I drive out to the dealership to talk to someone face to face. I get there and a different service advisor tells me that my service advisor had gone home for the day but was supposed to have called me and updated me on the status of the vehicle. Of course that didn't happen because it seems everyone in there is either incompetent or they just don't give a shit about their customers. It's actually a combination of the two I'd find out later. The service advisor that is there tells me that the parts department ordered the wrong part and that they had to reorder the correct part but wouldn't be in until Wednesday. Wednesday the "supposed correct part" comes in and gets installed. We never receive a call letting us know it's done. The wife calls on her lunch hour and the person she spoke with said it was done and to give them 10 minutes to get it ready for her. She goes in on her lunch hour and gets the car. They hand her the FOB and said: "it's good to go!" She asked for paperwork showing what work was done and they told her they'd sent it off to whoever they send warranty work to. Now I know most reputable businesses give some type of paperwork as proof of work that's been completed, that didn't happen here. Wife drives maybe 15 miles at the most after leaving the service department and lo and behold our little friend the check engine light comes back on. I'd venture to bet they never touched the vehicle and did absolutely nothing for two days. We called and got several excuses, the wife would call and get 1 excuse and I'd call and get a totally different story. Long story short: DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR REPAIRS. It's a shame too because this used to be a decent place to do business but not any longer. Now the place has very little vehicles on the lot for sale or for repairs and that's a reflection of leadership. These folks could give 2 you know whats about you or your vehicle. couldn't take my vehicle the day i bought it because they wanted to fix an oil leak that they knew about before i even purchased the car. they had it for a month trying to fix the leak issue and didn't even bother to check the oil level before letting me have the vehicle. I've barely had the vehicle 2 months and there was no oil showing on dipstick and now need a new motor that i can't afford and stuck with a car loan but no car all because of their negligence. read more

Went there to buy a used car for the wife. Had approved credit from capital one. Before we went we called capital one to just see what we had to do and all we had to do is go to miles and talk to a dealer say run credit and bank we are going to use threw capital one. Well we wait for 45 minutes and wondering why is it taking so long. Well the dealer came back and said I'm sorry but we can't do it. Asked why and they said something about my loan "husbands" asked what bank you went threw and they said our "miles" bank. Well that's the problem we done told you to go threw capital one. He said o we can do that tomorrow. No you won't because you already made my wife's credit score go down because you ran her credit wrong. I brought my car in to get the oil changed and to replace my front headlights. I was upset when I was told the labor alone would be $150. I just had bought my vehicle 4 mo ago. Ed was VERY helpful! He talked to the Service Manager about reducing the cost seeing as I hadn't had my Traverse very long. I was very pleased at how helpful and friendly he was to deal with. Don't trust this dealer. Agreed to a deal on a vehicle. Sent a picture of my plane ticket and cashiers check to pick up the vehicle. Then the dealer calls the next day to say "Sorry to tell you we have sold the vehicle" What do you mean sold the vehicle? Excellent service!!!! I dropped my car off for a service recall & oil change and it was done in an hour and a half. Charles the shuttle driver was friendly and great and Jennifer the receptionist was helpful and kind. It has a roomy waiting area with popcorn, and doughnuts as well. I'd bought a brand new 2018 Chevy Cruze from Miles and while driving months later I hit a pothole and bent a wheel on my car. Went to order a new one and was told not to because they were on back order and ordering one wouldn't do any good. So for the next month I called weekly and was told they were still on back order. I went in again for a service and talked to the parts department and asked about it again and they said that they could order it and get one from another dealership that had one and that whoever told me not to order it didn't know what they were talking about. So I ordered it and for another month heard nothing more about it until finally I got a call saying they found one they could get. A few days later I had it put on and when I went to pay the bill was over $200 too much. After I questioned it they started looking into it and come to find out they had charged way more than what it is for a mount and balance and had put a labor fee on it even though it was a fixed rate for the wheel. There was also a core charge even though I already had a core that was used from my old wheel. And finally they charged more for the wheel itself than what I had been told it was for the past two months. This kind of customer service was unacceptable. Making me wait 2 months for a wheel that they could have called about within a week is ridiculous. And then messing up the bill that badly and were just gonna let me pay for all that without question is also ridiculous. Not at all pleased. read more

Well, at Miles Chevrolet in Decatur, Il, after buying a 2018 Malibu, dealing with Jarrod Campbell made us feel like we at least had a neighbor working in the car business. We had the feeling that Jarrod understood what service was all about: that the customer needs to leave the dealership like they paid a fair price, listened to, and treated with respect and honestly. No BS, no high-pressure, and once a decision was made or a question was answered, that was it. Now that we are the happy owners of a great car (we wanted to buy and American brand), we are looking forward to a long-term relationship with the Service Department thru the years of ownership. I bought a new 2019 Chevy Malibu, it has 646 miles on it. The car came with On Star and with that and the Chevy App I had remote start. I stopped On Star because there was a monthly fee. I tried odering 2 new fobs with remote start on it thinking my car was equipped with the remote start enabled in my car. Thru a series of phone calls, questions and spending 170.00 on 2 new fobs, was told three different prices to install remote start on my car. Not to go into a lot of detail but was told I could take my car any where I wanted. They don't care about my business, had an attitude with me in the service department and never once said I am sorry for what has happened, let me see if there is anything I can to do help you in some way. Guess what, another dealer in this town feels so bad about what I have experienced are offering to try and help me a little even tho they had no fault. I took my key fobs to Bloomington because I had business there anyway and Lehman's programmed them BOTH for $25!
