I have a push button start car -- so, I inquired as to where in the car I might find the keys since they cannot be placed in the ignition. He shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't know, the cupholder?" in a tone that was intended to suggest I was an idiot for asking To add insult to injury, the windows were down on my car. Which meant, that anyone could have walked up and just got into my car and driven away with it. When I asked, "so the windows are down, and my keys are in the car?" DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE!!!…read more I've had many issues with Firestone in the past, and I really don't have many good things to say. For one, I had to reschedule an appointment three times to get my high pressure ac hose replaced. The first time, the Firestone in Springfield told me that I had to reschedule my appointment because they wouldn't have enough time to replace the part, even though the specifically told me the the given time would work while I was setting up the appointment with them over the phone. The second time, the Firestone in Springfield ordered the necessary part for my appointment, then sold it to another customer. The third time, the Firestone in decatur on Main street told me that they forgot to order the part for my appointment after thirty minutes of waiting. Then, finally, the part was finally replaced after over a month of appointments. I also had my radiator thermostat replaced by this Firestone, and they improperly bled my radiator system. One summer hit, my engine overheated constantly, due to the simple fact that there wasn't nearly enough coolant in my radiator lines. After a multiple hour long appointment to figure out why my engine was overheating, I received a call telling me that they couldn't replicate the overheating in my car, and refused to service it. While driving my car the next day, my engine was overheating out of control. I called this Firestone to see up another appointment, and I was told to take my car to the dealership. After doing my own investigating, I found that my radiator line was close to completely empty. Had the Firestone technicians taken off my radiator cap, they would have found this issue instantly. Overall, I've had my fair share of Firestone appointments, and I would recommend anyone to NOT GO TO FIRESTONE! No matter the location, even the second one in Decatur, they're all terrible. I was even charged $150 for an oil change...

My wife had a tire emergency, it was pouring down rain and a low air pressure warning on her right…read morerear tire was showing on her dash, she stopped at a competitor that was closer to her work place fearful of causing damage to her rim or tire, the place didn't have any customers in the place every bay was empty, she spoke with a guy behind the counter he said he couldn't look at her tire until 5:00 pm the next evening because one person walked in with an appointment. She left and came to RNR Tire Express went in and explained her situation to the tire professional, he immediately went out and brought her car inside and examined the tire and found that the tire had a roofing nail in the center of the tire, he showed my wife the nail and explained he would remove the tire and patch it from the inside. 10 minutes later my wife's car was back on the road and what really blew my mind, no charge ma'am...wow, you guys earned my business from here going forward, it's nice to know there are still stand up guys out there to look out for loved ones in our absence, Thanks to the guy that helped my wife, I owe you one bro!
