Interesting place. Lots of repetitive stalls. Lots of produce. Walked around for a couple of hours and didn't manage to find anything I wanted to buy.

Located east of downtown Denver, the Mile High Flea Market is a fun stop as long as you have some patience on the inbound drive. The one-lane streets south and east of the venue get extremely congested, particularly Rosemary and 88th Street, forcing visitors to spend 45-60 minutes traveling the final two miles. Once inside, ample parking is available. A tip is to park to the east of the venue to ease your trip back to your vehicle. Admission is $3 per person. Well attended, lot of families. It's a combination of a farmer's and flea market, and they are scattered throughout, with the food primarily in the middle of the venue. I enjoyed their corn on the cob laden with butter and all the spices I could get to stick on it!

This was a very interesting experience! Very much farmers market meets vintage shop. If you're looking to find something unique, this is a good spot to go. However, I didn't feel like a place for serious shopping. It's more of a window shopping vibe. They are dog friendly, which is very cool. Because the pavement gets very hot you do have this put your in a cart. The cart is n ended especially for the summer months. Carts and such are all available for rent when you get tickets for entry. Overall, the people who work there were friendly but because the place felt a little unorganized. This is the right place to find quirky and antique items though!

Pulling in - $3/pp on weekends

Was a little disappointed with the flea market. We came late Saturday morning (last week) and was hoping to look for some good treasure. $3/pp on weekends. We walked around the stalls that sold new items and then went towards the real flea market area. I was excited to look through stuff, but most of them were tools. I guess I was looking for an antique, vintage, collectible type of flea market....like what I was used in CA. We kept walking and just exploring the whole area, observing the rides that they have. They were actually open with a staff waiting for riders, but they had an easy Saturday. Nobody was getting on. So the "garage sale" was a pooper, so I got excited about the farmer's market. I love grocery shopping, but that was another disappointment. Everything was overly priced! They were more expensive than the market and Costco! Yes, they're probably organic or home grown, but still it was too much for my liking. We ended up buying nothing and went home. We don't know until we go.

Tupac blanket over my shoulder there...

It had been decades since I had visited the Mile High Flea Market, but when a commercial came on the TV and my 3.5 year old asked, "hey, what's that place", I turned to my lovely wife and we both thought, heck - let's go check it out! If you have never been, it is bonkers. Acre after acre of bargains. It's very much like a massive, well organized garage sale. The only heads up is that while you can get a sweet gardening hat for $10 bucks, or a Tupac blanket on the cheap, food and beer there is a different story. Since there is basically a captive audience, food and drink is expensive. Still, very fun.

If you're looking to get in some steps this is a great place to do that. I brought my teen kids and my Mom on a Sunday, we had fun looking at everything people were selling. It's a nice place to people watch too. Yes the parking lot gets backed up, yes there is a long line of cars to leave also. It took us about 5 minutes to get in and out though. We purchased produce for reasonable a price, I thought. My son found a Star Wars seller where he bought a few items. We decided to have lunch, we ate at the marketplace grill since they had seating inside. The food was really yummy! I got a chimichanga, the boy got a burger, daughter ordered chicken strips. You've gotta get the corn on the cob though at their location, it's the bomb! This is a wonderful day trip if you don't have anything else going on, and want a day out with the family. My Mom even rode a kiddie ride with my daughter and loved it!

Mexican style Corn on the Cobb

Good market with food, drinks, rides, and more. With a local farmers market, vendors and stores, turkey legs and corn on the cob, this flea market has it all. It's huge! The food and drink is a redeeming quality, because a lot of the stuff they sale is repetitive or just straight up junk.

The weather is absolutely beautiful so go to the market! There were only 25% percent of the booths open the day I went, Friday. Everyone I shopped with was very nice. #Denver #Colorado #MileHighFleaMarket #TheOriginalTamelaLee

This place was huge, and they had so much variety of products. In Mexico, we call these flea markets tianguis. Aside from shopping we use it as a social gathering another type of a mall. Right now the social gathering part is difficult but it was nice to just go for a walk and be able to lala gag and try to forget about all this craziness.

I was hopeful of finding some vintage items- but most of it was "temu" like items- fine for some- not my vibe & I was very disappointed.

Is this a dog friendly place?

Yes. Many dont follow the rules on putting their pets in a cart. If you follow mile high rules bring a pad so the dog can lay in the shopping cart

How much are the rides?

Each ticket is 75 cents, rides sometimes take 1-4 tickets and trust me they are FUN

I hate to give away my secret, but ARC is amazing. This location always has the goods, from high…read moreend to awesome coffee mugs and furniture. Parking is easy, huge lot that might or might not be completely full on 50% off Saturdays or Senior Tuesdays. Arc as a whole has always impressed me. It's very well organized and the layout is thought out. I will say some of the pricers in the back get greedy, I found a dress (Tory Burch) labeled $150.00, which isn't even how much it costs before it made it's way to the thrift, but you'll find more treasures than over-priced items, in most stores! I do have a hard time every time I enter an Arc, as I wear a small backpack purse (not a full sized school backpack) and Arc employees have been instructed to not allow backpacks. I have been approached by employees and told to leave my backpack up front (which has the money I plan to spend at the Arc!); when I tell them I can't leave it, I always have to speak with a manager... I am at Arc stores at least 2 times per week, so this has become a big issue that does irritate me. My only advice to Arc is to understand many of your customers are resellers (raises hand) and the pricing can be a little over the top, but mainly PLEASE stop harassing your customers with backpack purses.

She said it was women only allowed in the changing rooms even though it didn't say that anywhere, and a different employee literally unlocked the door and let us in. When I got out her and the security guard were just staring at me and the employee started peering through the doors of other changing rooms asking how many pieces of clothes everyone had with them. I called her out the register saying that was really weird but she just denied it. One other customer spoke up and said he saw what I saw too. She could definitely be arrested for that sort of insane power tripping.

My 6 yr old daughter also loves to join because of the jewelry chest she gets to play with and take home a necklace. When I consigned, they didn't take everything. And I am SO OK with that because that means the racks aren't stuffed with meh selections and they actually curate their offerings. But make an appointment--it's required and they book out! That is a very standard practice for any consignment store that doesn't just take all clothes as donations. When I shop, I always appreciate the fair pricing and selection. Work out clothes, cute tops, event dresses, jeans, bags, jewelry... I've gotten it all! I'm 39 and feel the selection hits my trendy/conservative style & demographic well.
