Brought in a few pairs of shoes for sole covers and a bag with frayed leather corners. They were able to fix everything in the end, and the quality was good. That said, the process was a bit frustrating. I had to go back three separate times--once to drop off, once to pick up (but the work wasn't done), and again after being told the person who could fix it was out of town. When I returned again, one item still wasn't fixed. Luckily, the "shoe boss" was there and completed it in literally a minute. When I asked why it hadn't been done earlier, he said it depends on his mood (as a joke haha). The service was pricey but there's not that many good cobbler around here, so I was at his mercy. read more

They couldn't fix my luggage but they cleaned my hard-to-clean fabric sandals and added a hole to another pair of sandals, the latter was free!! Can't argue with that!!! Extremely happy with the service at Milanos. I got Red Wing roughed out leather boots cleaned from a salmon OIL stain that dripped on the toe of my left boot. I tried to get the stain out myself with no success. I brought the boots expecting only a little bit of cleaning from the oil stain but to my surprise whoever is the cobbler or cleaner at Milano's completely cleaned the stain out. There is absolutely no sign of the oil stain, I was in complete shock and very grateful. I've had another pair of leather boots re soled there as well and same thing, they did a fantastic job with great quality. Their prices are very fair and very reasonable. I swung by on Saturday afternoon, wishing and hoping that they would actually have an old shoeshine booth out front and you could get your shoe shine while you're wearing them! I got an appraisal from danner for new soles and they wanted to do it for 160 not including shipping to them . THEN a 3 week turn around . Just wanted to pass along my opinion about this place. I recently purchased a used range rover. In the trunk of the car a cover for the spare tire looked shabby and made the car look tired. Since the rest of the interior is immaculate I figured it was worth replacing this strap but I could not find just the strap without replacing the entire carpeted panel which would have cost $200+. After checking with a few other shoe repair shops who didn't want to be bothered with such a small job I called Milano who I found on Yelp. Before I made the trip to the store I was able to send a picture of what I needed and that saved me the frustration of going all the way there. I just picked up my strap and it looks perfect. Instead of the cheap vinyl that it originally came with the shop made it out of leather with a stronger elastic and the stitching looks just like the original. This was a great value and their attitude has just won me over as a new customer. read more

I have a pair of western boots that are super comfortable but unfortunately I wore a hole in the sole in less than a year. I decided to get them re-soled but didn't have a shoe repair place nearby so of course I went on Yelp. I checked out Milano Shoe Service in Pasadena as well as a couple others that texted me quotes. Problem was the others didn't quote the work I requested. I wanted the soles and heels replaced with complete Vibram lug soles. The others quoted half soles. Milano's asked if I could bring the boots in so the could see what I wanted to do. The gentleman looked them over, gave me a couple options, we made a decision, he gave me a price, it seemed fair and so we made a deal. I left the boot's thinking it would be a week or so before I would get them back. Two days later they called saying my boots were done. I couldn't be happier with the results. These guys are legit. I'm very picky when it comes to my shoes, and I am BEYOND satisfied with the quality and craftsmanship at Milano! It was my first time here, I brought 7 pairs of new and old shoes- a combo of (ferragamo, and lanvin flats, hermes/louboutin heels), and (will bring dozens more in the future). Everyone here is professional, friendly, and honest! I had rubber Topys soles applied to the front and heel to protect the leather bottoms, had the heel of my louboutins repaired (I stepped into a crack, and it took the leather off), and also brought in a pair of 10 year old snakeskin alexandre birman flats I thought was on it's last leg (I would wear them around campus in college). For the new pairs of flats, the Topys were perfectly applied; for older pairs of shoes, they took the time to polish the leather and condition everything too. What was most INCREDIBLE was the repair done on my 10 year old flat...it literally looks like new. I wish I had a before after photo.
