Whenever someone says happy hour, I always think about $6 beers and house wines. I don't usually associate happy hour with food. That wasn't until I went to Milano for dinner.
It was a Saturday night and I had a function to attend, I was a bit nervous so decided an early dinner with my boyfriend was the relief I needed. We got to Milano and ordered our mains.
He had the lamb rack and I had the pasta meal. The meal wasn't all that impressive and the tiramisu was store bought. I remember taking my first spoonful of the tiramisu and realising it was frozen in the middle.
Now in my experience with tiramisu this should not have happened! Anyway I ate the tiramisu and complained to the waitress about the condition of my tiramisu. She said that it came like that from the shop. Hmm!!!
With an average meal, I was happy when we got to the counter to pay for our meal that everything was half price. Thank heavens for that, if you are after a cheap meal head down to Milano between 5-7. read more
