For several months now, I've been on a quest to find clothing that fits me and encompasses the full…read moreshopping experience. This boutique brought it all together. It isn't just about the dress, or jacket. Its how you found it and how it makes you feel...then taking it out into the real world where you feel estatic just to have it on. This was my first trip to Newbury Street in Boston. My fiancé had mentioned it before and said it was a wonderful place to spend time strolling the street with a ton of bistros, boutique shops, and cafe's to visit. Not to mention the beautiful cathedral like churches, old red brick buildings, and musicians along the way. This is the type of shopping experience I love best. Away from the malls, and chain stores. Plus, you get to enjoy the glorious sunshine that makes you feel so alive and happy to just be sitting or talking in the bustling city of Boston! So we were walking along the street, waiting to be inspired, when I noticed this store. The funny part is it wasn't any of the outfits I admired. It was one jean jacket that caught my eye. I actually passed the store and then something in me told me to take a second look. It was a different kind of cut then I've seen before and something about that caught my attention. So I climbed the steps and went into the boutique. Elona was the sale clerk working that day. She immediately and effortlessly started helping me pick out clothing options that might be fun to try on. The key here is fun. There was no pressure to buy anything, it just felt like two girls playing dress up. She was explaining to me the construct of the material, how these garments were imported from Italy, and how special each one was. But none of that really registered until I actually put on one of the dresses. Oh my goodness. You're going to laugh at me when you read this. But I actually felt like I was seeing a new me in the mirror for the first time. The person that I dreamed of becoming but never knew how to fully bring out. That's how taken aback I was by these clothes. When I stepped out into the three way mirror my fiancé was so pleased and happy to see me. Elona immediately took it up a step by matching my dress with a white sports coat and some sexy heels. That's when the transformation was complete. Now I was speechless. There aren't too many moments in life when that happens, but that's how special I felt to be standing there. Elona was right. Everything about these clothes was special. They were designed and made in Italy. The quality of the garment is incomparable. The one dress I decided to take home was made of this sheer material that just felt so good to be along my skin. The seams fit my body like a glove. The makers of these clothes really think about the women wearing them and how it needs to lay on the body for maximum comfort and effect. And the best part is they're machine washable! No dry cleaning necessary. I throughly enjoyed this entire shopping experience. Elona was truly a professional. She talked shop. She knew her product well, and she knew what would work on me. If there was a dress I tried on that I didn't like, she didn't try to push it. She immediately whisked it away and moved on to something else more appropriate for my tastes or body type. The whole time she was refreshingly natural and genuine. I didn't feel this was about the sale (though I do regret not getting that white jacket!) but she was in tune with my needs for a great shopping experience and I really appreciate that. The price tag on these clothes is high but not unreasonable for the quality your getting. The dress I selected was $188 but I happen to come at the end of the summer sale so I got it 50% off. Worth every penny. Since this is the only boutique in the US, I learned that you can visit their Facebook page. Some customers will pick out outfits from their posts and have them shipped directly to their homes. I might decide to do that in the future. I just really want to thank Elona for helping me that day. I know I have a lot more hills to climb in my lifetime. But somehow wearing clothes that make you feel empowered inside, makes you feel like you can take on the world! This is how I think every woman should feel when they come looking for fun, fashion, and fantastic shopping experience! I can't wait to come back again!

My review is about a few different products, one that was mine and others that my friends…read morepurchased. I had the pants for maybe 2 weeks before the seam in the crotch started splitting. The sales pitch they use is that they "warm and conform to your unique body shape" is untrue (they say this about the shoes too when in reality they are just uncomfortable) The pants become baggy by the end of the day requiring a belt. The goose down coats are "sewn" in China, "assembled" in Italy, which they will tell you, but what they don't tell you is they come unfinished without a garment tag, the employees -untrained in sewing/tailoring- cut 100s of loose threads at the seams and sew the brand name tag on. The zippers are also notorious for breaking, when you try them in the store you will see, they are very hard to zip and will eventually break. They claim the are "650 fill power" for the one with the fur and "800 fill power" for the ones without fur. This is a deceiving sales tactic they use, one employee will say 500 and the other will say 650. The fiber content tag will not tell you the down count. Furthermore they are made in China, so you don't know the quality of the materials. The shoes are also flimsy, my friend bought a pair for his sister for Christmas for upwards of $800 and they broke right away. They will tell you they are manufactured by the same company that makes Dolce & Gabana and Jimmy Choo, also doubtful. You can tell by the generic Italian boxes and number markings they are made in the region of Italy where leather and shoes are mass produced. So bottom line, don't always trust the "Made In Italy" tag, Italian brands capitalize on the fact that they can inflate their prices in America. Although most products in the store are made in Italy it doesn't mean you can trust the quality, especially when such dishonest sales tactics are used, I don't feel like I can trust them. I wouldn't trust any of the employees here as they are clearly fighting tooth and nail for commission.
