While staying at the pineapple hotel, my bf and I wanted a small bite to get us through before dinner. Love that this place is right across our hotel. We walked over and there's no line but there are folks inside enjoying the food. We got two slices - one pepperoni with jalapeño and one w pesto and chicken. We also got a side of ranch and with 20% tip everything was ~$15 which was pretty reasonable for SF pizza. They warmed up the pizza for us so had to wait a bit but not that long. We took our pizza back to our hotel and enjoyed it there. Both pizzas were delicious! I wish they warmed them up a bit longer. Service was quick and pleasant. It was tomatoey but not flavorful. I love my sauces and this was lacking in salt, herbs, and thickness. Also, it was a little dry. I needed a glass of wine. The toppings on the pizza were fresh, so kudos there! I had the veggie slice and my companion had the Milan (a lot of everything). So the slice is filling. Not enough cheese for me. Mostly veggies not roasted enough. My suggestion is to get the garlic bread which was very cheesy and flavorful. I might try the sandwiches to improve my review. Flew in late from New York.. needed something quick to be delivered. It was delivered within 30 minutes so the service was quick... I ordered a calzone.. it was good and stuffed with ingredients, however it doesn't come with any sauce which I expected since in the USA they usually come with marinara or pizza sauce. A lot of issues with this place. They'll deliver you a burger with both burnt meat AND burnt bread. How does one even do this? Or give you food with the wrong toppings. Have been yelled at by the delivery person for being away from my desk for under 3 minutes (the length of washing hands + taking some sips of water,) and instances of them showing up TWO HOURS later than expected. Imagine ordering food at 1:45am and getting it at almost 4am. The kicker was a week or so ago, I have them on video yelling at me over the phone actually. They delivered me a burger that didn't have the 2 dollars of beef bacon I paid for on it. Not the end of the world, I contacted the delivery service I used and asked if it was possible to be refunded for the single two dollars I had spent for the bacon I didn't receive, photos included. A few minutes into my break, the business calls me. Screaming at the top of their lungs, the owner is SCREAMING AND SWEARING AT ME, yelling "WHY YOU CANCEL YOUR ORDERRRRRRRRRRR? WHY YOU CANCEL F*CKING ORDERRRRRR? WHY YOU DO THAT? WHYYYYYYY?", and I can't even get more than four words in ('I didn't cancel, I-') before they just kept repeating and chanting swear words at me at the top of their lungs like a maniac. I was genuinely distraught, since it was my favorite late night place to order food? All issues aside, it was still a solid spot. So getting cursed out and accused of theft/of cancelling a food order as soon as the driver gave it to me was WILD. Any explanation was cut off by more screaming on their part for 2 minutes straight, before they said "NEVER ORDER FROM OUR RESTAURANT AGAIN", seemingly crying. I eventually just said "okay fuck you, idiot" and hung up, hearing them shout "WHAT" before the call dropped. (Of course I'm going to not be polite to you after you're calling me every name in the book and accusing me?) I contacted the delivery service I used (GrubHub/Seamless iirc) and asked if there was some error or mistake. They indeed said that the owner was mistaken, and that they probably just saw a notification on their ordering tablet that an order was refunded, but didn't bother to click and see HOW much was refunded, and assumed the entire order was cancelled. GrubHub/Seamless even had an associate call them and explain the entire situation to them, and the business claimed to understand, just for the business to reject the next order I tried to make anyways. In hindsight, the food is incredibly mid too, it's simply just one of the only place I know of that serves food that late during my graveyard shift, has a low delivery fee, and that isn't so horrible that I vomit, excluding maybe once or twice, which is low compared to Supremo Pizza I guess. So, if you want bad customer service and issues then you've got it. read more

Walked here after leaving 724. It's about a 2 minute walk. Came right in a fresh pep was coming out. We got two slices and had them cut it in half! Pizza tasted great plenty of sauce and cheese ratio. Way better then I expected. Also the older guy helping me was so friendly. $10 bucks flat for two slices. Can't beat it especially in the city. My first meal of 2020 at 1:30 in the morning walking home from our NYE gathering in downtown. I must admit that Milan Pizza came in clutch when I was scrambling to find a spot to get my post-drinking munchies on, when everything else was closed. With that said, you really do need to be inebriated or otherwise to really enjoy the offerings they have here at Milan. A slice of pizza will set you back about $6 but it's rather large, maybe 2-3 slices worth of a medium sized pizza. They have a bunch pre-made and sitting under heat lamps when you enter that they'll heat up in their oven once you order. I went for their Pesto Chicken Pizza which while quick and easy, ended up being super dry and not as satisfying as I had hoped for a meal to kick off the decade. But again, you get what you pay for in this quick service shop that definitely makes its money from people having a little too much fun overnight. read more

I work at a hotel in the area and some guests in their room ordered some food for themselves. This is what I imagine pizza is supposed to be. So often, I've had pizza where it was overly greasy. It was the kind of pizza that would sit in your stomach and give you a stomachache after. Not Milan. After their delivery guy brought the food to our guests, he went back to his car and told me he had 2 complimentary slices for me, one cheese and the other pepperoni. As you can see in the picture, I only had the cheese- for now. The pizza was a really clean eat and it's not sitting in my stomach like other slices I've had.
