I had the most incredible experience at the Merced Milan Institute! For my initial visit, I received several different services. The receptionist Ms. Louise was wonderful helping to ensure all of my appointments were scheduled and within the timeframes I sought. The receptionist Ashley was also helpful to provide me with checking out and any questions I had when leaving the school. Barbering student Miguel did an amazing job on my haircut, especially after only hearing what I'd requested once when needing to call my usual haircut business for my regular haircut measurements. Many thanks to the top-notch nail instructor Ms. Pamela and her exceptionally professional and knowledgeable approach to her teaching exemplified in her student Aiyanna, as she did a superb job on manicuring, exuding excellent customer service skills. The aesthetician instructor Ms. Julie was phenomenal in guiding her student Yadira and Josephine, respectively, to tend to my much-needed skin rejuvenation and aftercare instructions. I can not thank Ms. Julie enough for dealing with my incessant questions and concerns about following her guidance on how best to care for my skin. Ms. Julie helped brow student Janet do a great job, I am pleasantly impressed. Overall, the instructors are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly passionate about their subjects. The students were always willing to lend a hand and share their insights, creating a supportive learning environment. In particular, the skin and aesthetician department stood out with its outstanding training and practical skills. Wow! This place sucks! As you can see Milan Institute is Soo good at scamming! First off the instructors! Are beyond disappointment I have been to this place 2 times trying get my hair fixed but never received the Full Service( did absolutely nothing to my hair) They told me to come back in a few weeks to fix my hair FOR FREE and when I came back they refused to fix my hair saying that its exactly what I wanted when its ideally NOT! what I wanted! Otherwise i wouldn't be here yelping your Ass! And trying to charge me For a new set of highlights!?????????? Honestly this place lacks, PROFESSIONALISM, CUSTOMER SERVICE, and INTEGRITY. They could have just fixed my hair & called it a Day. They made it worst by lieing & disputing with me. I spent a lot of money- not just that, also I tipped the stylist too so that's my part of common courtesy- but where's yours? To make things a lot better- I WOULD NOT recommend this place TO ANYONE because the instructors will never understand what u want, they only understand what they want. I don't blame the students as they are just students & are still learning. The fall of the day is that CUSTOMERS ARE #1 PRIORITY. 1. Got charged for Full head color when did not ask for. Told to come back in a week. (?) 2. Received Unwanted highlights, was told to Return in a week by appointment. 3. What I can i say if you're currently looking into enrolling in the medical assistant program I highly recommend you to enroll into Gina Armendariz class she is currently a instructor in the medical and she is outstanding on her teaching skills. For example ,the first day I start I learned how to do injections and blood draws on my every first day ! I was really nervous on drawing out blood because I had never attempted but Mrs. Armendariz made us observe and when it was my turn to draw blood she was there making sure and guiding us to make sure we perform a successful blood draw. Mrs . Armendariz will show you all her techniques so you can be successful out in the medical field. I was always looking forward to her class her energy in the class room was a wonderful energy the environment to be in the classroom and everybody getting along. She treats everyone equal and goes above and beyond for you to pass the class and complete you're hours. She always asking if her students need help with any homework or have any questions about the lecture she taught. Have to admit thanks to Mrs. Armendariz I am doing really well in my externship like I don't know how to thank her for everything she taught me it made it so much easy for me on my externship. I graduated with almost 2 years on and off on my belt due to a car accident that messed me up and restricted me from giving it my all. Ms. J on the other hand, always made me feel capable and understood. She always went out of her way to work with me and my condition and checked up on me and other students to make sure we had everything down, she always had to make sure we understood the concepts of every chapter we studied and I loved the way she explained everything so thoroughly and took her time on every teaching she ever gave us. I am currently enrolled at Milan Merced. I am now a phase 2 student and today I witnessed something absolutely incredible and heart warming. It was enough to encourage me to write this review. As a student sometimes we don't appreciate enough what our instructors do for us throughout the day. Ms. Chyenne is an outstanding instructor. Mr. Thomas too! However today I witness Ms. Chy practically split herself 4-5 different ways at once. We had a full salon with students asking her questions in all different ways. She kept her cool and helped each and one of us. She is our go to person. She is the mom instructor for most us. We can always count oh her for mentoring. She is kind to all students and customers. I am a student at Milan institute for the AMA program. My professor is Keaunna Tate. I honestly have no complaints my professor did great. I couldn't be more grateful. Thanks to Keaunna Tate I managed to complete the 9 months this program requires. I am now going to externship. Despite the fact that Keaunna is in Texas she managed to walk us through this program and she did an incredible job. She explained everything in a great way, she is patient with her students, she works with you, and honestly she explains everything with so much dep. I know Keaunna is the only profesor I would ever want for this course. Despite the fact I have attended college in the past I have never had a profesor who has shown more interest in one of their students being successful like Keaunna has. She's really knows how to teach her class and be there for us if we ever needed anything, she goes through everything over and over if you don't understand something. And she's always there for you. So I was the student of Mrs. Keaunna Tate, she was my online instructor for the AMA program and she was absolutely amazing. I really don't think I would of ever made it through school if it wasn't for her. She explained stuff so we'll and always was so patient with us even when we needed more help with something or asked over and over again. She always took the time to help each and everyone of us. Went in for a hair cut and first time trying out a manicure. My experience was great considering these student were being intrauterine by professional who made sure the students were learning every steps of every procedure they were taught. Fortunately, my hair stylist (Anne) was a perfectionist, she was able to explain the differences between a healthy hair and healthy nails. I think she'll do good with her own salon or whatever she decides to do. I usually pay $20 for just the hair cut and this placed charged me only $7 and the manicure was also $7. I didn't expect to get this result for the price I paid. Keep in mind, this stylists are still learning. There were also great instructors there to make sure the clients were satisfied. Amazing salon/school front desk was very helpful he was fast and friendly. Had got me and my friend a pedicure yesterday with a gentleman with long dark hair cut sides in a design can't recall his name and also a young lady can't recall her name but Inrember her her makeup all done up and hair braided with a bun super tiny little girl. they were very nice and took there time with us also the vibe I got in the salon was very friendly everyone laughing and having a good time I love! Walking in there and seeing positive energy there was also a teacher in there she was just so amazing very outgoing and having good laughs and always smiling with her team. I dont know where to begin on how helpful and encouraging the staff there was.I was a student of Ms. Ashley the medical assistant instructor and she has change my life in so many ways. Recently finished the MA eve program here at Milan and it was great! S/O to Mrs. Becky & Mrs. Norma for being the best instructors, Christian for helping during labs, Viviana in financial aid, Karina in helping me register & Joseph in front desk!! I was sent to an awesome site & had no complaints. Struggled with CS through out my time there but one way or another I managed to push through and be beyond patient, do externship and graduate. I expected a lot more from the department and hope they better their service for future students. I recommend the school and the evening program with Mrs. Becky!!!
