When I went there the lab didn't send the blood work to the proper lab, why wasn't the blood work sent to the proper facility to be tested? And now I am out the money and have the pay for the mistake. I have been going to this doctor's office my entire life and never had this problem.

This morning I went to my 1st apt with my new Primary Care Doctor. My current Doctor was moving to…read morea new position. When I arrived, I was asked to fill out a paper with a list of cold symptoms. I was at the tail end of a cold so I was honestly, I still had a bit of a cough and runny nose but no fever. I was brought into an exam room when a woman entered and stated that because I had cold symptoms, I would not be able to be seen. I was flabbergasted. You will not see me because I have a cold? She explained that I might have Covid or the flu. I told her that I had Covid in October, took a Covid test this week and it was negative. I explained I do not have the flu because I do not have a temperature. She left the room to consult the "office manager" who in the end said I had to make an appointment for another day. I will not be making an appointment for another day. I will not be going back to this practice at all. Neither will the other 3 members of my family because I was the guinea pig for the new practice and they are not up to our standards. We require our doctors to see us from time to time when we are sick. We also want a compassionate office staff that is accommodating. This office lacks medical care AND a solid office staff.

I have always really liked Dr. King. She was recommended to me by a former co-worker, and I later…read morerecommended her to several others including my husband. Dr. King was willing to let me participate in my care. If I wanted to try an alternative treatment or avoid a certain medication, she would always offer other options. She was also very personable and easy to talk to. Dr. King would also share other anecdotes from her own life so you felt she was really involved in what you were saying.

American female -- VERY knowledgeable -- VERY enthusiastic ... and she did not make me feel badly for not having been to a Dr. in so many yrs. She made me excited to get back on a healthy track. I smoke and dink some. She did not make me feel like a bad person for that ... She was very through in my ck-up. She stated -and it has been true - that any tests that are done I will receive information -- non of this no news is good news kind of stuff. I signed up with nextmed to view and communicate online -- the DAY AFTER - my blood test there was an e-mail with the results from the lab and ALSO a letter from dr. King with a review of each of the part of the test and where I stood and where i should be -- and recommendations (-- for me none expect to return in a year) Her staff was very nice as well ... Her enthusiasm has made me want to go back as needed ....

I've been going to Family Medicine here for several years now and have consistently great…read moreexperiences. For the last 3 or 4 years, Dr. Holmstrom has been my PCP and I really liked her. I guess most folks do too because the only downside is that there's usually about a 3 month wait to see her! But I've been lucky that so far I haven't had any emergency issues to need to get in all that quickly so a 3-month wait hasn't been terrible. A few times I've needed prescriptions filled last minute and the staff has always been friendly and extended my refill until I was able to get into see the Dr. Most recently I was in yesterday for my yearly physical. Admittedly, despite being completely enamored with all things having to do with the medical profession, I have a bit of doctor's office phobia when it comes to my own appointments and I get really nervous whenever I visit (nothing personal, docs! I'm just a worrywart!) but the staff here puts me at ease. Everyone is great from the check in front desk staff to the nurses (there is one in particular that I've seen several times and she's the best! I'm terrible with names so I can't recall to give shout her out, sadly!) to the medical student who did my preliminary exam. Dr. Holmstrom is also so sweet and supportive and really friendly. Admittedly I've had a pretty grief-stricken year so anxiety/depression has been a bit of a struggle for me the last few months. She really took the time to talk through some of my issues and make sure that I was taking care of myself through all of it. They really do care here! UofM also has the neat health portal online where you can make appointments, view test results, request refills, etc. Everything you may need at your fingertips 24 hours a day. Just make sure you have your medical record number handy as you'll need it, if you're like me and forget your login & password all.the.time! ALSO--this office also houses the Japanese Family Health Program. This doesn't pertain to me but I think it's great they offer the services to Japanese speaking members of the population (several other clinics in the area service other languages).

What I loved most about my PCP back in Cali was that I knew who my doctor was and could ensure that I would be seeing only the person, unless I requested someone else. This practice has three primary doctors and a nurse (I believe she isn't there daily), but they have a really nice woman(not sure exactly what her title is) but she preps all the patients before the doctors see 'em. My PCP is probably the youngest and the newest in that practice and does a great job taking the time to talk about any concerns or issues I had and didn't take über long to get to me either. It was very easy getting an appointment and the front women are helpful. If you're looking for just one doctor you can see and build a rapport with them, I would recommend coming here. Oh another plus is that they haven't moved to using an electronic system, so it is more a one on one visit, as opposed to the nurse or doctor talking to you but looking at a tablet most of the visit.

I got only a couple robo calls from him inviting me to some dinner presentation at Weber's. Not interested in being sold something at the doctor's office.. I found another doctor.
