I have experienced hair loss issues, so I wanted to give Morgan a try. She weaved my hair. She braided my hair so I wouldn't experience any hair loss. She worked with me to on obtaining the lace front before my visit. Morgan was very responsive, professional, and is a great stylist. read more

I've been going to Milan Beauty since 2021 and have loved my experience over the years! Morgan is a high quality stylist that always delivers for her clients. My natural hair has grown so much since going to Morgan. She doesn't just do sew ins and extensions, but she makes sure your hair gets the care it needs while doing the protective styling. Not to mention I basically get a free therapy session while I'm there! There's nothing like when you gel with your stylist. I'd recommend Milan Beauty to anyone! read more

Morgan is great and provides high quality service. She is very professional and kind.

Wish it were possible to give 0 stars, that's how bad this went. I booked an appointment for something called a "closure install." She refused to remove the extensions after I'd worn them for months. Her suggestion was to see another stylist for removal. So disrespectful because she charged $600-$700 and the section of my hair where the "closure" was installed still appears to be damaged as I work toward regrowing to original density. Do not go to Milan Beauty! It's not worth it for the damage that's done to the hair. She's terrible for new customers. read more

Lacks Professionalism, Lacks Skills, Communication Non-Existent As a result of Morgan's lack of skills, I'm out of over $1000. I had her custom make a wig (The cost of the hair was over $700) and add highlights. She destroyed the closure because of her lack of skills. The hair was severely damaged because it was overprocessed by her lack of skills and her inability to properly color the hair. She said that the damage was the result of her not being familiar with the brand of hair. Yet, she recommended the brand. In an attempt for a resolution, I requested that she replace the closure. My text messages and phone calls were completely ignored. As a result, I brought the wig to her place of business so that she could look at it. She wouldn't even look at it. She flat out refused to make any attempt to resolve the issue. She should take ownership of your mistakes and attempt to make restitution, as opposed to trying to run and hide from her customers. read more

Over the years of wearing hair extensions by stylists in the DMV, no work I've had has met the caliber of Morgan's. Since my first impression, I have continuously been impressed by her true Midas touch. I will attach some pics to add. Now I have been seeing Morgan more times than I can count and the progress of my natural hair growth journey has evolved into something I am finally proud of. Not only does she lay an impeccable sew in and closure, but she cares about the health of your hair underneath as well! She's meticulous with her methods, braiding, and the high quality products she uses. My edges have thrived and every time I take my hair down there's more and more new growth. This kind of hair regimen with Morgan works for me as it is stress-free and doesn't interrupt with my busy schedule. I can truly be on the go. :-) Her raw Indian hair is high quality and has lasted me through many installs!! The luster makes the hair look very natural and blends well with my own. She deeply cares about her clientele and understands the needs and desires of your specific hair type. I have thoroughly enjoyed her services and plan to book again (and again!!!!) lol. read more

I visited Morgan today to get a sew in for the first time ever and I am so happy that I did. Her work is neat, comfortable, and beautiful! Her salon space is clean and cozy. I also walked out having learned many helpful hair care and styling facts and tips from conversations with Morgan. Beyond her beautiful, high quality work and her depth of knowledge, Morgan is the kind of professional that you look up to and respect. She is an inspiring young entrepreneur, who is as humble as she is talented. If you're looking for a hairstylist who knows her craft and does it well, I highly recommend booking an appointment with her (before some celebrities exclusively hire her for themselves; she's that good)! read more

Morgan has been my stylist for over a year now and I couldn't imagine what my hair would be like without her! Let's first talk about Morgan.... she is professional, consistent and SUPER TALENTED! It's awesome when you find a great stylist but it's rare to find someone that is is consistent 100% of the time. Her work.... AMAZING!! I have had hair extensions for over 16years and Morgan's installs are among my best. I receive compliments daily but the best is when people say how gorgeous "My hair" is I LOVE IT. Milan Beauty - Hair Extensions Near Me - Springfield, Virginia

I was a client of Morgan's at Upper Echelon Salon in DC for a few months and even followed her to her new shop in Springfield. During an appointment last December, she asked me to write a Yelp review for her. At the time, I didn't think anything of it. She was a new stylist and needed good reviews. So I obliged and wrote a review. Now, less than a year later, I FULLY regret recommending her. She mentioned to me that she paid for an ad on Yelp in an effort to gain more clients. At the time, I was happy for her! I'm all for black girl magic. Shine girl. However, I slowly began to see a change in the quality of her work. One particular time she put in a sew-in that was so tight, I had to take Tylenol AND Ibuprofen around the clock to ease the pain. I could literally feel my hair ripping. But I gave her benefit of the doubt and figured she'd just braided the braids too tight. I even gave her the benefit of the doubt the SECOND time the same thing happened, and made another appointment two months before vacation. But she CANCELED that appointment, without even TELLING ME! I was already questioning the quality of her work at this point, but this show of unprofessionalism was the last straw. After she posted that Yelp ad, she stopped all personal communication between her and her regular clients. Instead of answering my calls and texts personally, like she'd always done before, she had her "business partner" answer her calls. Only the "business partner" took forever to get back to me, days would go by between responses. So maybe the "business partner" canceled my appointment mere days before vacation? Or maybe Morgan did? I don't know. She wouldn't call me back, so who knows? Morgan's 21 years old. She does hair okay, but she doesn't know how to professionally run a businesses and maintain acceptable communication with her clients. If she keeps going like this, she's going to lose all her clients--new and old. It's hard to expect excellence from someone who still operates like a kid. Morgan has shown her unprofessionalism, inconsistency and inexperience. And because of that, she lost a loyal client. If you're an adult who wants a professional and pleasant long-term stylist, I wouldn't recommend Morgan at all. Save your money and your hair. read more

I started going to Morgan about 8 months now and she never fails disappoint me!! She is super kind and accommodating and truly cares about the health of my hair (which is really important to me!!) She loves to keep her clients hair on a schedule and recommends things you need, not just stuff to make money! My favorite part (other than her being so sweet) is that you are not in the salon all day! She books her day really well and didn't over book! I've never had a bad experience and have seen such growth in my hair! I'm so excited for my next appointment! read more

Morgan is very professional and really cares about her clients. She always goes above and beyond to make sure her clients leave her salon feeling beautiful . Since I found Morgan I will not go to anyone else. Her installs are beautiful and virtually undetectable. In fact most people think this is all my real hair . I drove 1 1/2 hours to have a sew in installed by Morgan and I'm 100% happy with the way Morgan installed my sew in. To begin with Morgan shampooed my hair then followed with a deep conditioner. I like that this was included in my service because many stylist like for you to come with your hair already washed which I feel should always be included in your service. Morgan braided small and most importantly did not braid too tight...THANK YOU!! Throughout the entire process Morgan checked to make sure I was comfortable which was very nice. Not only is Morgan very professional, she's also really sweet, down to earth and nice to talk to. I plan on driving 1 1/2 hours again to have Morgan do my hair and maintain my extensions for me. So glad that I finally found a stylist that knows how to install extensions beautifully!! You ROCK Morgan!! read more

I had the pleasure of having a appointment yesterday with Morgan, needless to say I went to her with a weave installed by someone else):. She was very cordial and expressed her concerns about the weave that was installed. I appreciated her comments and learned a lot from the conversation. She re-cut and style the weave the best she could. She was very friendly and caring I thought. I absolutely cannot wait until I can go back and have a new install. read more

I have been a client of Morgan's for over a year and words can not express what an outstanding stylist she is. Her professionalism, attention to detail and knowledge about hair care and growth is amazing. I also love the quietness of her establishment. It is truly a wonderful hair spa experience!! I am definitely a client for life!!! read more

I want to start by saying this: for those of use that truly understand and appreciate quality work, you KNOW that it is rare and hard to find that ANYWHERE! I moved from Orlando,FL to D.C looking for a sew in for a reasonable price and stumbled upon a salon in D.C called Upper Echelon. Prior to my appointment last year in August, I specifically asked for their best hair specialist that was on the clock that day that was familiar with natural hair and they undoubtedly said, "okay, we will book you for Morgan". Thankfully they did. I was surprised at how professional and how much she actually cares for not only your natural hair, but you as a person (since customer service alone, is at a all time low these days). My hair did not even have to be washed for about 4 weeks because of how she made sure my scalp was conditioned and oiled properly. Whatever products she used for my edges, worked wonders on my natural hair (as I mentioned before, it did not have to be touched up or washed for a VERY long time). I followed Morgan to her new salon in Springfield, even though it is a 2 hour commute via metro for me, and recently got another sew in which was done wonderfully as expected. I will not go to anyone else. If I were you, I would make sure that you are blessed by her services as I can guarantee you there is none other like her. She is a perfectionist and strives for nothing less. She will have you in and out and you do not have to worry about staying in their all day. I look forward to booking again. Thank you Morgan for bringing quality back to the hair care field! read more
