This little joint is hands down the coolest bar I have ever been to. It is unassuming on the outside, but you step in and it is a technicolor wonderland of nostalgic pieces and new art. There is an extensive craft drink list, and the two I had were expertly made. Even better...both were sub $10!! It is super clean, and you can tell that they take pride in their blue heaven. Walk past the genderless bathrooms and there is a separate room (with its own music) where karaoke is held on Saturday nights. There are coloring sheets and even a merch section made from the lost and found. Craft drinks, great decor, good music, and a DOG! Congrats to Levi (owner) and Lady (Corgi) for creating the vibes. It is nothing short of epic.

This isn't necassarily bad if your down with swimming upstream in a whiskey river which the locals will gladly assist you with. This place is best reserved for a late night with a small group of friends. This bar is right next door to La Casa Grande which can be dangerous if you enjoy a delicous Tex-Mex style cuisine. Overall, this is a solid dive type bar with plenty of local charm. I would not plan a special trip to it, but it can be solid if your in a pinch.

Service was slightly slow, but they had live music and explained that to us right at the beginning that things might take a bit longer. Definitely stop in! They open the garage doors on nice days to hang out on the patio. My only suggestion for the out door lighting is to be able to turn on the sting lights without the super bright flood lights that are out there too. It made it WAY too bright in the evening.

The bartender was extremely nice and we wanted to stop in and grab some burgers. We travel through this area on our way to and from Galena, and we just wanted to grab a bite on the way home. We came on a good day since it was BOGO burgers! Grabbed the french onion dip and chips and found that to be really delicious - also got wings and they were nice and crispy with the right amount of sauce on them. Seems like it would be a nice place to stop when they have other events going on as well. I've read older reviews, but they are plenty old. We had a very positive experience and I'd stop back for more food and drinks. Everything was really tasty, affordable, and we had a great time hanging out there.
